The original footage was actually for a railroad company, but bright lights in a room with a child sleep doesn't scare people to vote for you.

I think that took some real guts, great work. You actually used facts and logic to support your argument, more than I can say for most liberals. I however, do not support Obama, but rather McCain. Go ahead and vote my comment down for me being pro-McCain, but aren't you than neglecting what you just said about this girl's patriotism? Wow casey, your parents were paid pretty well for that work you did when you were little. In fact you probably had to join a union of somekind like SAG or AFTRA for your "stock" footage to be approved for use on television. What an amazing way to draw attention to yourself and possibly a union issue. Are you going to give back the money you were paid for the commercial??? I was searching for this ad, and I am SO GLAD I found it!!! Casey, you have shown TRUE patriotism by standing up for what you believe in, especially against the huge Clinton campaign that uses fear mongering (the 3 AM ad with the tinted screen and scratchy voice) and name calling (Carville calling Bill Richardson Judas for supporting someone he believes in). Many would be scared to stand up, but you did so gracefully and assertively. You make me PROUD to be a United States citizen.

Actually Getty Images owns the stock footage NOT Casey. Casey does not get any money from Hillary using this stock footage from the commercial. Casey has not implied that when Hillary bought it from Getty Images it was without her approval. It is interesting to note the original stock footage and how it was altered to seem more scary. The original footage was actually for a railroad company, but bright lights in a room with a child sleep doesn't scare people to vote for you.

First of all, she was 9 years old when this was aired, it was filmed for a cold medicine commerical that the Clinton campaign then bought the stock footage. At 9 years old, wouldnt it be tough to sign a release for yourself for a campaign that woudl happen 8 years in the future? The word moron comes to mind.

Use your head. The young lady (Casey) Obviously signed a release form. But not to or for Hilary clinton, but to the studio who shot this 8 years ago. And in doing so it gave them the right to use it as they saw fit. So yes I am sure they signed a release and got payed for it's use in this add.

Stock footage means she was paid to act in footage that could be sold by the controler of the stock footage. She did not release her acting to or for this political use. she has every right to do what she did as she clearly does not agree with the use of the footage. Yes she was paid but that does not make her have to agree with the use.

You don't seem to really get the point. She didn't get paid for this ad. This footage was taken eight years ago and then sold to a media company. Afterwards she had no control over who used it. John McCain could have used it, IF he bought it from the media company.
You see the Irony is that Hillary Clinton used her rosy sleeping image and twisted it for a scare tactic to get votes, and then we find out that that girl in the ad is actually volunteering for the other campaign to get elected.
