What I would Do:Backup your iPod,Update it.Then jailbreak using blackra1n.This might not work.

I got it and it froze and im on 64 gig itouch so all my crap went away .

Yes but it updates the baseband therefore you can't use it unless you are on AT&T or O2 uk, iow this will stop an unlock for now.
