Well with this massive uncontrolled spill by PB the Inupiat might be getting more time. The drilling may stop all together now. The people now have the most solid case against oil drilling that they’ve ever had. Good luck to them.

Instead of continuing to drill for oil we need to be spending the money oil companies use to locate oil on finding safe alternative means.

predatorial whaling is a problem, but in this case its more ceremonial than anything.

its the same with drilling. you can't put platforms just anything, just like you can't hunt whales unconditionally. you simply can't drill in a place that would ruin a people's way of life.

obama's call for green enery is very important. prophetic even. i hope he wins and controls big oil.

drlling for oil is not at all bad but cheap temporary oil should never make us ignorant of renewables. 28-30 years ago Jimmy Carter said oil dependence is bad. he had a plan to make america run 20 percent on solar by 2000.
