  • Man I remember seeing them in Concert at a church along with along with the benjamin gate and ill harmonics

  • love this song/band!

  • I met these guys! I think it must have been almost 10 years ago!

  • Pauly meanys rapping is awsome!

  • I luv them! They really move me! Gr8 band!

  • I love the random dog.. and paul rapping. the first time I heard this song I was already a MM fan and I never heard I Never heard of Earthsuit. and to hear Paul rapping about made me cry laughing but this song is awesome!

  • Reminds me of tobymac.

  • Except that this is from 2000. TobyMac's solo musical abominations began in 2001.

  • im not used to paul rapping.

  • this is soo like some of mute math's stuff. im glad paul got his own band!

  • 3/4's of mute math is earthsuit.

  • I´m not even into this kind of music but these guys are AMAZING!!!

  • I love it

  • they're so strange I LOVE IT!!

    and this song is genius.

  • ISNT IT???!! =D lol *huge Earthsuit fan =(

  • Wow, i heard this one time when i was littler and its a very nostgalic song for me.

  • they came to my church YEARS ago and i saw them live :)

  • Not to be rude but can you tell me what they are saying? Or at least the theme of the song.. something.

  • Basically they are saying you get one shot at life in this world ("People of the rock come and rock one time") and they are spreading the Gospel message of salvation through Christ ("Anyone who thirsts there's plenty of new wine"). At least that's how I interpret the lyrics.

  • I would rather listen to this than a lot of the crap that is on the radio. So maybe it isn't musical genius, but it really isn't that bad.

  • its not that bad... its just unique... at least part of it (Paul) turned into the best band ever!!! (MuteMath)

  • This song is great.

Check out Mute Math and definitely Club of the Sons.

  • I was really impressed with this song after reading about how much it would suck from other comments.

  • i wish i could give this like 1000 thumbs up, this sucks, 311 sucks, and Brokencyde sucks HARD.

  • jesus christ

  • this is crap.

  • Everybody.

    Potty Potty.

  • Wait.......that's not him. That's just another crap band that thankfully faded into obscurity.

  • Wow.......I always thought the lead singer in skindred was black. Silly me.

  • holy shit this is unbelievably horrible

  • entonces para q lo ves daaa

  • Terrible.

  • Everybody! BODY BODY!

  • GREAT SONG I 5'D IT KEEP EM COMING ololololol

  • Awful.

  • Holy crap this takes me back.....I loved this band.

  • Whoah the fuck.. this is horrible..

  • this is the worst song i have ever heard.

  • Earthsuit was too far ahead of their time to be appreciated... part of the reason it's SO nice to see MuteMath SO appreciated... especially among their fellow musicians.

  • yeah

  • Because releasing a rap/rock album in 2000 is "ahead of their time"? OKAY

  • Earthsuit was never appreciated until it morphed into MuteMath/Macrosick and people actually began to "catch up" with their genius.

  • And the new rise. Club of the Sons.

    AMAZING

  • i knew about earthsuit, but never had listened to them... i LOVE mutemath, so , this stuff is just hilarious for me!

    still sounds good ;)

  • WOAH! IS THAT PAUL MEANY RAPPING?

Holy crap. This is amazing. Well no, actually his angry rapping is pretty bad compared to the work he does now. I wonder what he would think if he saw this again.

More importantly, how much could we pay him to wear that blue gangster outfit THING again, then give it to us?

  • Dude, I can't believe there are other people who remember these guys. Haha. This used to be like THE song for me.

  • The vocals just kind of ruin it. I'll stick with Mute Math....

  • Love Love these guys. They were amazing in concert.

I miss Earthsuit, but the new bands are amazing too.

  • This is the first song I ever heard by this band; that was very years ago.

  • the blonde hair dude is cute

  • My gosh haven't heard this for years. Haha.

Can't believe the keyboardist is the lead singer of Mute Math? What a coincidence!!!!

  • i love love love this song. i havent heard it in years....thanks to the guy who put it on...

  • This video has a kind of "Max Headroom" feel to it.

  • we all gotta dress like that again.

I call dibs on Paul's baggy blue gangsta outfit.

  • One time, one time, one time, one time, one time, yeah...

  • oh how i miss these guys...one of the best musical acts - straight up.

  • LOL

    random dog

  • NICE!

  • This song is ridiculously catchy.

Can anyone tell me where to download the song 1-2-3 from? Or even give me a link to listen to it? Thanks

  • this is a good song, i would like to see saxplaya850 and TinaWantsToRoar mix rock, funk and reggea together!! Its called experimental!!!!!

  • i agree with you....

  • Having listened to this band for about a year before I saw the video, I had this mental image in my head of what these guys looked like. Then I remember being disappointed when I first saw this video playing in a shoe store overhead monitor, thinking "What? This isn't Earthsuit."

Oddly enough, seeing this several years later, it's not all that bad - I remember the film speed and quality being much lower budget.

If only they followed the Devo thing a bit more and wore the hazmat suits.

  • i love all the flavors of earthsuit. pretty freakin' sweet song AND album. RIP, but yes we love MUTE MATH!!

  • this is a rly kool song...i have it on my MP3 and i listen to it alllllll the time...great song!

  • This is one of the best songs ever... <3

I miss these guys, but I'm sure glad Mute Math came from them.

  • Truth.

  • lol, Paul Meany should rap more often (or whatever he was doing).

  • Exactly what I was thinking. Mute Math is way better than this.

  • This was made like, nine years ago when rapcore was popular. It's JUST a little bit dated now. But give it another 5-6 years, and it will become cool all over again.

  • hahaha thats so true, that's why I don't go by whats "in". Good music is just good music.

  • for real this shit is garbage like 311 wannabe bullshit, cant beleive its the same band!

  • ooh! new word i can use in front of my friends parents!

  • This was their single, but it was the worst song on the CD. Try to find the song Sky Flashings. I guarantee you'll like it if you like Mute Math.

  • I saw these guys in concert with Skillet & Bleach twice during the Invincable 2000 Tour.

I the have the Extreme Days movie. Awesome band. Too bad they didn't stick around like Skillet.

  • lol paul meany rapping haha

  • hahaha for sure. XD

  • OMG! i remember this song from when i was little....i can't believe mute math came from this band, i had no idea! lol

  • Glad that you enjoyed!

  • I love the dog on little conveyor belt thingy at the beginning of the video....soooo cute!!

  • I would have loved to hear more of Earthsuit on the radio, but Air1 got totally hung up on this song, spun it five times a day, and never played anything else by the band. They don't even bother with Mute Math, which is a bigger shame. These guys are hugely talented.

  • the only reason i knew about this song/band was from the movie Extreme Days (2001)

one of the best movies EVERRRR!!! so yea.. haha =] just thought i would let ya know!

and thanks for uploading the vid!

  • Agreed, I love that movie! I watch it like once a month.

  • i know.. me too! its like the best! =]

  • Yeah, I think it captures human nature really well and resonates with how I hang out with friends and stuff. I'd recommend it to anyone, really.

And like you, I discovered Earthsuit through this movie.

  • I actually don't like Mutemath heh.

  • @iwebber88 you are crazy

  • @whosebad94 I know I'm crazy.

  • Is Dave Rumsey in any other bands now?

  • i'm sorry but THANK GOD for mute math!!!!!!!!! They are @ a completely different level that this sheight!

  • Seconded.

  • this is one of the main reasons i got so much respect for mute math... cuz paul used to rap

  • Got a quite stupid question, but who in this vid is Paul? Is it the one with the blond hair?

And personally I think it's great that they broke up, cause Mutemath is the best band ever;)

  • Never mind, I know the answer, haha.

  • HECK YEAH!!!!

    i absolutely agree!!!

mute math is the greatest outcome of a disaster!

  • Paul is the one on the keyboard, in th orangeish tunnel thing rapping, and or wearing the baggy blue gangsta outfit. I am the proud president or the Paul Meany fan club in fact. Mute Math! Earthsuit!

  • A terrible shame they broke up, they were truly one of the finest christian groups out there. Their existence will be missed but the music lives on, thanks for uploading the video DBTrunks :)

  • Loooooovvvvvee this video Macrosick and Mute Math oh yes.

  • this song and supernova girl sound alike from the movie zenon

  • Earthsuit is MM mother! I honestly think w/o Earthsuit, there'd be no MM or the other baby bands. Earthsuit is AWESOME. I love the bands open-mindness. That's why they did so well...

  • this is actually pretty progressive... i think Earthsuit was beyond their time when they showed up...

    i actually like it...

  • XD lol you compare mute math with earthsuit ur like... "r u sure this was ever that?" lol xD completely different both are extremely great though xD its just weird to see some dude singing mad emotional and then hes like rappin bustin his rhymes xD

  • These guys and I have some mutual friends, so I met them before they were famous. They were really nice!

  • I swear I really thought brothas were singing this song...No lie this really suprised me. Oh like the shades they fit him.

  • what the? Paul? rapping?

    nah, ur kidding right?

  • ahahaha paul's old band was so cheesy.

i dont miss this era at all.

  • How did mute math evolve out of this lol...I guess all that matters is that it did, thank goodness

  • This band was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I like MM, but there will never be another Earthsuit.

  • now go check out

    club of the sons!

  • its funny how ppl

are just finding out about earthsuit.

yes mute math is cool but this

band was cool also because it was a break

    from boring radio music

  • holy crap!!!

    that's paul!!!

  • his sunglasses are so cool, they're like... space glasses.

  • OH MY GOD!THAT'S REALLY PAUL RAPPING!I was really shocked. nah, paul still looks good. haha.

  • the song is more reggae than rap though....

  • 3:32 is pretty catchy

  • Wow same here. I can't believe how dumb 2000 was haha.

  • this band is legit

  • I really think these guy are good

  • I met these guys in 2000 in PA, very laid back, very cool, and partially the reason i play music now :-) very original, i was sad when they split into two bands.

  • IS THAT PAUL RAPPING? it dosent really sound like his MuteMath singing voice.

hehe cool. I lllove Paul Meany :)

  • Too bad they never could hold it together live.

  • I just read on wikipedia that they only made 1000 copies the Rise of Modern civilization album. Does anyone else here have it?

  • woops, I meant simulation.

  • I have a copy

  • I love how he sounds on the bridge

  • they were so awesome!

  • As far as I know you're correct. It was just creative differences. I would love to see them to a return tour......love Mute Math too...enjoy all

  • Sad really, Great band, great message, great music. And thats what split 'em up. They did do a show togeather a while back with Mute Math and COTS but I think that was a "one time" thing :P

  • gotta love that pooch at the begining

  • That's the singer's dog.

  • why'd they break up? anybody know?

  • As far as anybody knows, this breakup was mainly for musical reasons; according to Paul Meany in a post on the old Earthsuit message board, he and Adam LaClave were having trouble writing songs that combined their two writing styles into the Earthsuit sound. Thus, the band split up to devote more time to their side projects already-in-progress.

  • thanks:)

  • Paul Meaney does a good job rapping. his voice is suited for it. but i prefer his vocals in mute math!

  • i didn't know that they split into groups!!!! heheh i'll have to look into this

  • These guys were INCREDIBLE live! The place was rockin'! =D

Only got to see them once or twice before they broke up though :-(

  • The doggy!!

  • i love Earthsuit i hope they could get together for one last tour

  • Man I remember buying their cd Kaleidoscope Superior back in 2000 and I was hooked! Never heard from them again, wish they'd get back together I thought they were an amazing group. I didn't know they split up into two different groups! I'll have to check them out.

  • wow, paul is... rapping

  • ya i was amazed too...

  • Giovanni Ribisi on lead vocals, ladies and gentlemen...

  • song I love!

  • I saw this vid on the xtian channel and have been a big fan since. I have both of their albums and some other rarities I was able to find online. My fav song is Lady Wisdom.

  • i miss them.

  • Do re mi fa so la ti do ti la so fa me re do I warm up my tongue to engage in a lyrical war Now I'm ready to go So I reckon the second I'm decking and checking And wrecking the mic yo I've got the kingdom of darkness talking that I am a psycho Earthsuit is in the house, so figure out what the deal is I'm gripping the mic and I'm flipping it right And you've got to get ready to hear this I promise to tell the truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth Funkmounth to bootcha
  • I don't think the world was ready for Earthsuit. For that matter, I don't think Earthsuit was either.

But this is a good video to look back at. Especially to see Paul rapping and Adam looking like Billy Idol. I love it!

  • Haha... Paul raps.

  • again at creation 2000 i scored a backstage pass, these guys were awesome, we hung out and they lemme tape their concert, very laid back, and AWESOME stage presance. pax 217 was also there, that was a ton of fun.

  • One of my all-time favorite bands. Every song they did sounded so different and incredible! I miss Earthsuit! Mute Math is great, but it's just not quite the same without Adam's voice. :)

One Time is such an awesome song! One Time, Osmosis Land, and Nightfall are probably my favorites of theirs. Thanks for posting this!

  • Yeah, I wish they would've stayed together. I'll have to check out those 2 new bands though. Thanks DBTrunks for uploading this one!

  • I Like Earthsuit

  • This has always been one of my favorite bands! who knows, maybe they'll be like Guns n' Roses and do another tour! LOL! Awesome vid, been trying to find it for a while now.

  • Love this group, I just wish they could have stuck around a little longer.

  • Thanks for the comments ya'll. If you like them, check out their other bands, Macrosick and Mute Math....
