The club lip syncs, until Christina replaces kristen, or 'Nicki' in the movie, and nicki pulls the lip syncing vocals to Etta Jame's 'Tough lover'. Then, after Christina blows everyone away, they base the rest of the acts on Christina. So if Kristen was the main character, she would probably be singing(:

@PheiiPheii Well given that this track is close to 60 years old, it's hardly the 'Suggestive Song of the Year." You may want to check out the original by Diana Washington or the version that made it a smash by Bette Midler in the 70's. But with that said, Megan's version is great but her voice is a bit high and it's a track for a deep blues singer. Check out Vicki Shepard's version for authenticity.

@star2b99 The only song that was not lip-synched when shot was when Cher shot "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me" She shot that live, however, although she shot it singing live, they still dubbed over the recording audio with the studio version. As for the others, they were shot lip-synching, then dubbed over with the studio tracks
