@CuteHamtaro1 you make a text ting from Media Generaters and click text. pik ur text you want. and then it will pop up a window... type in the text you want and then X out of it. click the lil square button... and then u move the box around and it will show wat ur doin on the preveiw screen *i tried to say it detailed...*

All the video clips i use are .Avi files and i watched ur tutorial on .Avi files... but it didnt help in vegas. I can watch them on my computer which i couldnt before. All it says in vegas is (Media Offline) it is really pissin me off :/ thanks 4 the help

an error occured during an edit operation.

the COM object failed to iniliaze.

Hey marty. When i run my video its always really laggy in spots that i added effects and what not to, but in other spots its fine. I tryed to put it on Draft for my Preview Quality but i still get the same problem. Any ideas?

Oh and when i render it it turns out fine. What i have been doing is rendering a small portion and seeing where the times off etc. then Re-rendering it and looking again. It gets really annoyining though lol.

Probably your computer is too slow to render and then preview so much effects etc. I also have that problem when I get to have about 10-15 tracks (or 3-4 tracks with a lot of effects) playing at the same time.

Ok, wow that was really hard ;), anyways, maybe what you could help people do is like especific effects, like the dissaperieng effect, or like the sin city effect, or maybe that you tape yourself, and that your self stays there while the backround goes behind and does some flashes....

Or how to combine effects with the thematic of the video, or if it's a song, maybe some people like more advanced things than begginners, but I still think it's a cool video, and everyone started with this anyways

you have sony vegas MOVIE STUDIO. only on sony vegas pro can you add more than 4 audio and video tracks. sony vegas movie studio pro will still not work. you have to have the pro version

Ok... I've been using Vegas 6.0 for a couple of years now, on and off... and that "Basic Beginner's" tutorial showed me a couple of things I never knew (like the CTRL+Click/Drag for speed control).

Tutorials = GREAT

Video Game Stuff = Not so much.
