@TheHalo74 you gotta be from the south! im from florida. i lived less than a quarter mile from where this album was recorded in merritt island fla. when it was recorded. i remember me and the other pee wees playing b-ball listening to this shit on a boom box!!! damn i miss those days. now a days it feels like im the only one who remembers the old school florida scene. apparently not though.
Nice I remember in the late 90"s there was this guy (porta john)at the orange y bmx track that had a chevy s10 with 4 pyle 12's that would play this song and feel the bass you could hear it across the whole track it hit hard and sounded good at the same time.
This whole album...I used to listen to this shit, and then go practice my djing, to try to scratch like mike, more specifically the cut that starts at about 2:30 .... great share..this album was refreshing when it came out because it had a different sound than most of the FLA stuff coming out in 88-89, especially on the lyrical side, but also stays TRUE to that HARD hittin' fla style BASS. funkin' classic man!
Thanks for the post. I haven't heard this in forever. ATS straight rips this track. Please post his other song "I Ain't Finished Yet" and also please post "Coming on Strong" featuring MC Madness. Listen to the wizardy on the wheels of steel at 2:50. You don't need bullshit ass "hooks" when your DJ can cut it up and spit it back out. Once again, thanks for posting it brings back so many memories.
i think i was elevan yrs. old when i bought this album. listening to it now just brings back memories. plus the dude is a lyrists. damn he ripped that!
Wow. A trip back to tha past, my cuzin stole this album from me when we wuz younger and I had bought it again when I found out, I stomped him hard. You could easily make this an amv and I just mite do that when I get mo time on my hands, problem is findin an anime I havent used yet.
I thought bout editing to it, especially back when I was doin scratches... problem is the song is DAMN LONG lol, but yeah, if you ever hear a song on hear you wanna edit to that ya don't got I can hook you up.
NICE! This iz soo ol' skool! ;D NEVER HEARD IT THOUGH! LOL! But I LUB IT! XD It'z like one a doze adventurous summer dayz! I love da first guyz lyrix da most ;p Dop3. AND-The scratching-I heard some drumming in there ;p ;D

The scratch break at 2:30 is the best use of transformer scratch in hip hop history. Magic.

Luv this track, the whole album was hot. Too bad the low bass gets lost in this YouTube format.

My 3rd favorite jam on this album. #2 was "I Ain't Finished Yet" and #1 was "It's Funky." M&M cuts like a knife!
