First off, the caps and ellipses are painful to look at. Secondly, Queen's digression of hard rock away from the blues, and more into aggressive, fast paced metal is a clear forerunner of punk music. The two styles of music were derived from the same culture and music.

I'm just saying because the spontaneous hating on punk music seems very inappropriate on a Queen song that very clearly has a distinct punk sound to it

While I don't think this was meant to be a punk song it sounds like amped up raw glam rock to me, which in retrospect can sound pretty punky and those guitars are pretty metallic.

When you can make the transition from a song like this, to a song like "The Show Must Go On", and move effortlessly through sub-genres like you're a million bands in one.
