  • Bad thing they took this off sheer heart attack album or else it'd be the most kick ass album ever made

  • 9 people had a SHEER HEART ATTACK and died.

  • I think most people don't know about this metal side of queen.

  • For all you that disliked this song can go and take a 24 inch cock balls deep and burn in hell

  • Helloween made a version of this music.

  • One of my favorites by them.

  • I have tights videos

  • Eight people got a heart attack

  • @CystalBlade U mean a Sheer Heart Attack ;)

  • only problem is that Roger Taylor sings this one, Not Freddie so trying to make it look like live clips though valiant is not convincing...

  • @ih8tbush what?? Freddie sings this one. Roger is backing vocals

  • @jamzal not on the original studio version which is what you are hearing....check the credits

  • @ih8tbush What on earth are you on about? This is the studio version. Freddie's doing the lead vocals,

  • @jamzal I stand corrected. Roger composed the song and played most guitars, bass and sang on the chorus.

Sorry people. I bought this album the day it came out in '77.

  • una de las canciones de queen q mas me gustan!

  • hey hey hey....I love you, Queen!

  • Do you know? Do you know? Do you know just how I feel after this song?

    I feel super!!!

Excelente vídeo de mi banda favorita: Queen.

  • I love this band. but I really don't think that this is the band's best song. It is really hard rock though!

  • cool vid

  • POLSKA zawsze z QUEEN !!!!!

  • As raw as it gets. This is rock and roll in its purest form.

  • @ThePaulpFiction Agreed.

  • @Gyphia yOU REAALY SHOULD DO SOME RESEARCH....QUEEN INFLUENCED BY PUNK?NONSENSE COMMENT...GLAM ROCK AND LITTLE RICHARD CHUCK BERRY,JERRY LEE LEWIS,THE BEAT GENERATION,JOHNY CASH,JAMES DEAN ,JACK KEROUAC,BOB DYLAN,VELVET UNDERGROUND,WERE THE SOUL OF PUNK ROCK QUEEN HAD ITS OWN STILE WAY BEFORE PUNK ROCK EXISTED...PLAY A 50'S STILE SONG DOESNT MEAN BEEN PUNK AT ALL...BESIDE IT QUEEN MENBERS REAALY COULD PLAY... NOT LIKE MOST PUNK BANDS THAT..THINK CAN PLAY AND SING ... BUT ...LOOOOOOL...

  • @beroth77

First off, the caps and ellipses are painful to look at. Secondly, Queen's digression of hard rock away from the blues, and more into aggressive, fast paced metal is a clear forerunner of punk music. The two styles of music were derived from the same culture and music.

I'm just saying because the spontaneous hating on punk music seems very inappropriate on a Queen song that very clearly has a distinct punk sound to it

  • @DominoGray

actually speed metal and thrash metal. New Wave of British Heavy Metal

  • ABOUT PUNK... IT'S JUST A WAY TO PLAY ROCK'N'ROLL.LISTEN TO SLADE,NEW YORK DOLLS ,THE SWEET...SUZI QUATRO...THE GLAM ROCK STARS...THEY AND THE ROCKERS FROM THE 50'S WERE THE COMPLETE PUNK BASE.JOEY RAMONE SAID SO... HE WAS TOTTALLY INTO SLADE IN HIS TEENAGE YEARS...1969,70,72..PUNK IT'S JUST A SPEEDY SIMPLE AY TO PLAY A STILE THAT WAS ALREADY EXTREMILY WELL KNOIWN.

    nOTHING NEW...JUST A NAME...

  • Eat your hearts out Sex Pistols...

  • This has to be one of the hardest rocking songs from Queen ever.

  • @Gyphia IT'S THE OPOSITE...QUEEN DID SONGS EVERYTHING...YEARS BEFORE WITH THIS BEAT AND SPEED ,WEIGHT,SO IF ANYONE INFLUENCE ANYONEXISXQUEEN THAT INFLUENCED PUNK...LISTEN TO MODERN TIMES ROCK'N'ROLL AND STONE COLD CRAZY 73 AND 74 RESPECTIVELY.THERES NOTHING IN SHEER HEART ATTACKBTHAT WAS NOT PRESENT IN THESE SONGS I'VE MENTIONED...PEACE

  • As YODA said to LUKE SKYLWAKER :

Do it or don't do it.... but don't try it

If there's any person who can play and sing this song MUCH BETTER than QUEEN did it, up the hand and do it !!!

  • Oh my god. I had no idea that Queen kicked so much ass. This song is unreal.

  • this song sounds so contemporary.could have been done yesterday

  • Hello guys awesome video, I invite you to check out my video on the video responses of this one it has the lyrics on it!

  • I just totally LOVE Roger's voice when he sings "Sheeeeeeeeer heart attack !!!"

  • what trouble in begginning!?

  • this song makes me want to break stuff

  • @vitamincity LOL what a great comment,I love it :-))

  • BEST BAND EVER

  • I hate punk but I love Sheer Heart Attack, only Queen can make me feel this way XD

  • great video :D

  • Punk, well.... I'd like to see a punk guitarist playing like Brian May in this song... not to mention operatic vocals :-) But I like the Sex Pistols :-)

  • Anyone knows where to find the demo sung by Roger Taylor ? I'd love to hear it.

  • thisgets my adrenaline pumpin'

  • omg!

You know what I mean there's a lot of space

    between your ears

    that's Pure Genius.

  • Funny thing, this is a parody, but it's far better than most punk there ever was. :D

  • Punk is actually pretty good.

This is similar to punk but it's definitely not punk.

  • @wayzey This is more Punk than the most bands nowadays labeled Punk!

    'cause it feels like PUNK!

  • @WardancerHB

I think you mean bands like Blink 182 and Sum41, well guess what! They're Pop Punk not Punk.

This is more punk than those bands, yes but Pop Punk and Punk are about as different as Nu-Metal and Metal.

Compared to proper Punk bands now and in the past this is no closer to Punk than Pop-Punk is.

  • @wayzey The musical aspect is just a part of Punk. It's anout breakin conventions and spit the establishment inna face. Queen, and espeiacially Freddy did that on a daily basis.

I don't wanna argue about labels...Metal, Nu-Metal, Pop-Punk, whatever. As I said the most important thing is the feeling! :-)

    Greetz

  • @WardancerHB

And this feels.... nothing like punk.

  • The early stuff RRRRROOOOOOCCCCCCKKKKKSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

    Best band ever.........END.

  • I love Queen!!!! :D

  • Oh wow ,there is no better singer ever than freddie hes a legend ,grew up listening to this stuff ,brillant

  • Musically and lyrically there is none higher.

  • hype song

  • Interesting line: "It was the DNA that made me this way."

I always marvel at the lyrics of Queen songs.

  • A person who thinks they know music, knows at least three Queen songs. A brilliant person knows em all and loves em all. :)

  • love it love it love it queen stay # 1

  • Real Cardac !!!!

    Unstoppable song !!!

  • sheeeeeeeeerr heart attack! i love this song!!

  • @423likeajewel reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal cardiac!!! i feel so inar-inar-inar-inar-inar-inar-inar-ticulate

  • Queen is one of the most succesful british bands, you never heard of them cuz you are an idiot D:

  • @ElChanateRifa or too young which is the same thing lol

  • ur an idiot

  • Parece mas duro que stone cold crazy ,shere heart atack es el tema mas duro que hicieron.

  • @rainbow3922

Es que entre estas canciones ¿¿cual crees que es mas Heavy?? * STONE COLD CRAZY ¿?¿? * TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN ¿?¿? * SHEER HEART ATTACK ¿?¿?

  • Quiet a time I felt so "hula!hula!hula!hula!"

  • one of there greatest songs

  • Pure bomb!

  • (LLL)

  • Man Queen will throw every style of music out there, from '39 to Good Company to this where you got that punk sound. They could do anything.

  • agreeeee))))))))))

  • Yes! I agree. Innovative, diverse and universal... all the way!

Btw. Your name is Great! I like it! :D

  • The essence of energy - if this track doesnt make you feel alive then you must be dead! Phenomenal!!!

  • always loved the song, but never was fond of the abrupt ending. I never knew Freddie was gay until I heard he had aids.

  • Freddie wasn't gay he was Bi sexual ;)

  • its true

  • really? sure?

  • Freddie was a genius

  • Except Roger Taylor wrote and played all the instruments for this song... ahahahah

  • actually roger played the rhythm gtr but brian did play the lead licks and john the bass. roger played gtr. and bass on "fight from the inside" on the same record though

  • @olavjeee

hmm... just tell me if u are sure about that because i'm not so agree

I think Freddy was Samantha Fox's friend, and other gurls too but never ""went to bed"" with him

So, in that case he was gay, and THIS it's a crazy little thing I forgive from him.

  • energia puraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Only 115,000 views? But this is one of the best Queen songs!

  • views doesnt matter....all what is matter is The Music....Esentzaa:X:X:X

  • I know. Some other songs have even less... what's up with that?

Let us help them find their way! In a good way... absolutely. Great music shall never die. :D

    We must share. Peace.

  • what year did this song come out

  • 1977, it was on News Of The World album...

  • i thought it was 1974

  • No, 1974 was the album Sheer Heart Attack, the song wasnt finished at the time so they put it on News of the world later

  • who wrote this song

  • Roger wrote most of the song, but Brian and Freddie kinda helped on it

  • who does the backing vocals

  • i did

  • nisiquiera la version de helloween es mas rapida.

  • amazing and powerful song

  • how is punk not rock n roll? How different is Louie Louie (Kingsmen version) to the punk stuff happening in 1976?

While I don't think this was meant to be a punk song it sounds like amped up raw glam rock to me, which in retrospect can sound pretty punky and those guitars are pretty metallic.

  • I love this song!

  • I LOVE like around 2:19 when Freddie's like on the floor being hot as HELL! is there like somewhere that's from? all i know is that i wanna see that more ;) I LUV YA FREDDIE!

  • news of the world!!!!!

  • Yeahh!!

  • Rock on...is is Queen at their roots

  • freaky but cool ;> love them

  • SPLENDID!!!!!!!!

  • what album is this from? I can't find it anywhere :S

  • News of the World

  • It´s from the album "Sheer Heart Attack"!! xD

  • Nah, News Of The World. Intened for SHA but it was only half-finished at that time.

  • yea it took like 3 more years to finish this song.

  • Hardest Queen. Love it.

  • Turn on the TV, let it drip right down in your eyes

  • ha, is that really what he says? ive been trying to figure that out forever. He usually has a very clear voice, but this one confused me

  • Yeah. It was a good line 30 years ago, and it's still a good line now.

  • this is the only punk song that Queen made

    i love it :D

  • I don't know how some people can't stand this song. I love it.

  • now dont get me wrong. i absolutely LOVE queen to death, and they are the best band ever, but i personally cannot stand this song...

  • I think that was the point. Is very punk.

  • you are so wrong aberjan

  • I love his wildness in this video. especially when he knocks over the amps and beats them with the mic. stand. I must say also his pants are worn well in this video.

  • IT'S AN ASIAN INVASION!!!

(Not meant to be at all racist or commenting on racism at all, just noting the number of asians in the video)

  • It would be a great thing to hear this song on one of those heavy pounding bass systems in cars today instead of that same OLD rap crap that causes my ears to bleed .....

  • De puta mareeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • TCSHIRHART ATTACK YEEEEE

  • haha, tshirhart attack.. ooh albert Lol

  • it would be better if it was TSCHIRHART ATTACK!!!

    TSCHIRHART ATTACK

  • best heavy metal queen track

  • really punk!

  • Only pure genius can create a song like this one!

  • My favourite Queen song, and this is a really good video too.

  • This is the reason why Queen in my opinion, is the greatest band ever. When you can make the transition from a song like this, to a song like "The Show Must Go On", and move effortlessly through sub-genres like you're a million bands in one. Then and only then, can you say "Legendary talent". Hands down, the best band of all time. Check their track record, it's impeccable. Led Zeppelin? The Beatles? The Who? What?

    Sorry, Queen takes the cake.

  • I Love you?!

    You're right!

  • I agree, Queen has so much talent

Another band that can also do that to such a scale is Judas Priest

Listen to songs like Epitaph, Run of the Mill, Painkiller, Breaking the Law, Last Rose of Summer, stuff from Nostradamus album (just giving you songs that sound very different)

  • @smrfox99 easily queen takes the galaxy

  • One of the best Queen songs ever!!!!

    Sheeeeeer heart attack! Bravo!!!!!!

  • One of the estatic heavy metal songs i've ever heard and it is has techno in it just like the Machine song in The Work's album. Just genius!

  • This is my favourite song Queen.

    <33

  • I love it!!

    Freddie is very crazy!

  • UHUUUUU!!!

    I love it!

    VERYYYY CRAZYYYY!!!!

  • great song

  • PORRA,É HEAVY METAL!

  • Do you know do you know do you know just how I feel

    Sheeeeeeeeeeer Heart Attack!

Where did the clip at 2:55 come from? I think it was Houston '77, though I didn't see any clips like that at the Houston video.

    '*'God Save the Queeen*'*

  • Roger Taylor's singing this song, not Freddy, guys! Hahaha! Queen all the way!

  • hhhhmmmmmm they sing different parts..

  • Huh? Roger Taylor only sings the chorus part

  • U talknig to me???????

  • roger sung on the demo,, but he band decided in the final cut, that mercury would sing it has roger had already sung a song on the album, news of the world,, another wierd fact is, the album, 'sheer heart attack' didn't actualy contain this,, this was on news of the world

  • roger also recorded all instruments on the song himself. and the song wasnt ready by the time they recorded the s.h.a. album

  • earley qeen is the best qeen!

  • I'll second that

  • ''little punk rock?''

    WTF???

    THIS IS GREAT GENUINE PUNK!

  • If you look Power Metal up on wikipedia i think you'll find this in it

  • also look up early thrash metal...

you will find stone cold crazy

  • this song is a little punk rock...isn´t it??

  • waaaaa

  • tim boydmen eats grass on sudnay afternoonies.

  • wauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
