Infact, alot of America's material is either a remake of the Brits (years on after) or written by Canadian writters which have said to have got their humour by the Brits! For some reason I think you have to have a little bit of a certain type of brain/personality to understand and enjoy British comedy, because a few of my friends just go "huh?" to his jokes.
