I was curious and told my buddy with the XRS to shift at 6k and stay out of lift to see how close it would be without lift and still the 2zz was the superior. We both had intakes and exhaust and both manuals s-5speed xrs-6speed

if they were both automatic the gt would win because it has more torque. so it's not impossible. it also depends on what performance mods they put on their cars and if they know how to race or not.
