Hi im a Taiwanese living in the philippines and i just want to comment on the height of Taiwanese. Im just a short 5'10 guy still growing though, and i gotta say the new generation of Taiwanese are really huge. 90% of the people ages 20-40 are over 5'11 and only around 10% of the new generation are 5'8-5'10. almost nobody is shorter than 5'8. Yeah maybe we have a lot of short people before but recently the new generation are really tall. Please dont judge before you get some facts.

Thinking the rim is low is ignorant..these players compete many FIBA games there's no point to lower the rims just for entertainment purposes in domestic games as it will be detrimental to their overall skill. There are also several American players in this league and I'm sure they'd notice something was different if they rims were lowered.
