  • that is an awesome CLEAN here...

And some great Noodling around too... : )

  • I am amzed at how everyone says "Tone is in your fingers" While attack and style certainly affect tone Sodoes EVERYTHING ELSE. Speakers, tubes, strings picks cables etc Everythng affects tone. Ok rant complete I feel better.

  • The tone comes from the fingers nothing to do with amp or guitar its a fact

  • @BATHUMAN Word! I think it was Peter Framton that said great tone is 10% guitar and amp, 90% your fingers.

  • @BATHUMAN no its not!!!!!!!!!!!! thats bullcrap! style and ur message and teqnique come from fingers; but me through a squire and a fender frontman and I will not sound nearly as good as a 69 strat through say any high end amp! certain tone things come from fingers though like vibrato but any player that has any ear will tell you; I have chatted with people like bogner and paul reed smith and santana and they all say the same thing im telling you. You cant disagree with carlos santana retard.

  • @jacktheguitarman Well, Bogner and PRS have influenced statements, in the way that they are trying to sell their product. They couldn't really sell their high priced gear if they were recommending Squire and Fender would they? As for Santana, which is a great guitarplayer, he would probably make any amp and guitar sound good, but like so many others he has found a combination that he likes, and that works for him. It may not be 90/10, but the majority of the sound comes from the fingers.

  • @AndyTrenton in order for a guitar player to have confidence in their playing and play to the fullest they need gear to shine though; for intance some people may think it sounds good playing a shitty amp but i will not be happy

  • @jacktheguitarman That's exactly what I'm getting at, it's indeed very individual and personal what sounds good :) And yeah, having quality gear helps ;)

  • Love the sound and great guitar player :)

  • I bought his album yesterday. It's a masterpiece! Highly recommended.

  • a tele and valve's......... nice

  • that's what i call dynamics!

  • I like this dude's zen guitar room.

  • Can anyone tell me the spec of the Telecaster please?

  • great feel

  • Art is universal. It's not anything about being jewish or martian.

  • I do know that it has to do with that gorgeous telecaster though! Haha, Cheers!

  • He's probably improvising, KingMitsubishi. Even if you transcribed his playing, it's besides the point.

I fail to see how the Jewishness makes a difference.

  • Nothing beats a great jewish player and a nice amp!

  • Where can one find a tab for this?

  • Great tone, great playing!

  • beautiful

  • Great sound.

  • is this plugged just straight into the amp?

  • Great player! Great amp for the money ;)

  • Indeed. With engl screamer they are the best around for under 1000euros (thomann prices). I think the egnater rebel 30 is that good too but i haven't done any serious research for that one

  • I went backstage at a jackson browne conert, and met jackson and this guy. it was great. They were both awesome. This guy blows me away with his tele work. I have a telecaster my self his so good and influencing. Rock on mark!

  • How does it stay in tune?! Quality guitar I suppose

  • @slimhotknave uhm i have a tele myself, and I tune it once, go through it again, keep it in the same tuning and it just stays. Its a great guitar if you get a real fender tele. I couldnt tell you about squire teles though sorry!

  • Hi, thanks anyway.

  • ok no problem

  • 0:34 is serious Phil Keaggy / Castles Call influence (if not it exactly)... Keaggy rules them all.

  • I went to Jackson Browne concert and was amazed by Mark's beautiful guitar playing. This guy is a wonderful talent

  • He was amazing!! Really rocked...saw him with Jackson too

  • Wow. great guitar player indeed. Clean tone is a too mushy for my tastes..

But who cares when someone plays with such a sweet touch & mega musciality..

If it's that mushy with a Tele, imagine what would it sound like with a Gibby ....

That amp ain't for me, but Mark certainly has a new fan ...

  • I met him he's so awesome.

  • Amazing sound!!

  • Sorry, but this guy will make every amp sound this good...

  • A good guitarist does not make a bad amp sound good, but a bad guitarist will make a good amp sound bad.

  • But a medium-ish amp played by a great player will sound very good.

  • @notuern wow that is so deep..you coin that phrase all on your own?

  • @notuern I would disagree. a good guitar player can make anything sound good and a bad guitar player can make anything sound bad.

  • @Zakbass84

So you think a good guitar player can make a Marshall MS-2 sound like a Marshall 1959SLP?

I dont.. but i do believe a bad guitar player can make a 1959SLP sound like a Marshall MS-2.

  • @Zakbass84 Well said! I was going to write that. Nicely done!

  • @notuern I disagree. A great guitarist can make any amp sound good! That goes for any guitar as well. I'm just saying.......

  • Soory to say, but this guy will make every amp sound this good...

  • the amp sounds great!

  • mark-san.... marvelous playing as always. can we expect another solo album of yours?

  • Just got the 1x12 combo today. Played it for a good 4 hours or so and love it! So versatile, the cleans are very "fender" like and the Mercury channel sounds close to a plexi or an AC-30 when dialed just right.

  • Its unbelieveble how versatile this amp is... GOtta get one ASAP!

  • Got the 212 combo and is´s so amazing and beautiful. Thanx a lot Mr. Bogner.

  • WOW! Amazing.
