How great are the lyrics on the song! I like all three versiions (ever hear the one on Hit Parade?). Just great to hear the song. I'm taking out "Go Figure" and "Labour Day" and cranking them up later. Thanks for posting!

This is not even close to the original song, ShannonVenasse. The melody is completely different on their 1988 Labour Day album, which I bought as soon as it came out. MUCH better version.

I first got into this song when i was dating this lkeftist girl at McGill, all her friends hated me because I wasn't into their leftist views so this song really spoke to me. Ofcourse given the band's political views I always find it ironic

SOTW are one of Canada's greatest bands, but never get their due. Especially amazing live, although I think they lost a bit of their punch with the departure of Linda McRae. Still amazing though.
