  • shithole graphics

  • This is still the best wrestling game to date..along w/WCW Revenge. The control scheme was and still is the best. Why THQ changed it, I will never figure that out. The only games they made even close to the way this game played were Wrestlemania 19 and Legends of Wrestlemania. Those games were close to the way this one played and i own both of those. Screw all the Raw vs Smackdown and WWE12...they are garbage. This is still the wrestling game to play!

  • You hit austin, and knock him down, he'd just back away, get out the ring, grab a chair or what not, and run back in after you; I had the big show decked all trim and "old school" and all the remaining with their proper looks and names-along with how they ere there already. it was fun!

  • I loved it how they'd be so "in yo face" ONE MINUTE, THEN AFTER A FEW HITS, they'd slow it down real cautious, just to end up chasing you reckless again, and the interference and teams and enemies that came out! So funny!

  • what made it fun was that I had 4 versions of me on there, along with my friends, and brother; I also had created other characters in this Hulk, Jazzy B, Silver Bullet, Bilbo Baggins, Vinny Mac, and others. I had hours of fun laughing my tail off, and playing it on career, beating everyone. My favorite move was the running sumo slap, and beating the hell out of steve austin with chairs! I miss the game!

  • 00:15 he said now your role and shnut your mouth!!

    Lol

  • Damn I miss the 90's

  • man THQ was kinda like activision now back in the day, meaning world tour was awesome but up until no mercy they were the same game but unlike activision these games had soul, emotion & every iteration just kept outdoing the other eventhough i'd go back & play the early titles & man the hours spent character creation was HUGE back then, fuck i miss my childhood.

  • smackdown was alot better

  • he said wwe

  • It didnt matter if the rock was takin a crap

  • used to loved this game man!!!!

  • what made this game amazing was being able to create your own... i made shawn michaels when i first got it then started playing through the game and felt like an idiot when i unlocked him for real =D good times

  • this was on of the best wrestling gmes ever. I will not say no mercy is because of that whole reset glitch debacle that alot of the copies have

  • hey rock know you role and shut your mouth :))

  • do you like pancakes?

  • Dam yo me and my freinds used to get off of school go play football at the E.O.M. (in south Philly) and then play this everyday. The good old days haha

Yo and No Mercy was the shit!

  • i have that game lol

  • I remember watching this commercial. I'm 21 :D

  • lol at the santa claus

  • Garbage? I'd play this shit than half the Smackdown games they make today.

  • I loved this game.

  • EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wash your mouth out with soap, ATCRyderX. The Asmik-developed THQ games to this DAY stand as the best designed wrestling games ever. The current ones who do it right always come back to game engine used in those famous 4 from THQ: WCW vs. nWo World Tour, WCW/nWo Revenge, WWF Wrestlemania 2000, & WWF No Mercy. It looked like a WCW game because it used the same developer who made Revenge. WWF got more popular than WCW by this time.

  • @ATCRyderX No disrespect, but are you sure you're not somehow confusing the games? I've never found someone that didn't like the THQ wrestling games for N64. I've also found very few people who like the Acclaim games for PS1.

  • @ATCRyderX Whatever ur smokin man, seriously, gimme some of that shit. Acclaim has never... absolutely NEVER put out a decent wrestling game and the only company that did worse than them is EA (WCW Mayhem/Backstage Assault)

  • @ATCRyderX Warzone and Attitude better than Wrestlemania 2000? LOL Gimme a break.

The Acclaim games moved a lot slower and required you to perform key combos to do even the basic moves like a suplex or piledriver. Wrestlemania 2000 didn't have that. It had a simple grappling system and it moved much faster.

  • @ATCRyderX FUCK YOU THE ACCLAIM GAMES SUCK

  • @redranger114 You are both wrong and poorly spoken, Faggot. End of Story.

  • @ATCRyderX fuck you bitch your blocked rot in hell and have a nice fucking day

  • @redranger114 LMAO!!! Oh no. Blocked. Now I can't comment on all ZERO of your videos, Faggot. Awh. =(

  • @ATCRyderX What?????????? those games that went POWERBOMB..PILEDRIVER..POWERBOMB no matter what you hit. suck a dick

  • @ATCRyderX lol ur a dumbass dude the acclaim games were such shit i remember i got attitude for christmas and was pissed cuz i wanted wrestlemania lol u must b jokin

  • @chronicas420 I do not jest, faggot. I'm sorry - it just boggles my mind how anyone could prefer this garbage to Attitude or WarZone. Most people who watch this video feel differantly though obviously.

  • @ATCRyderX "it just boggles my mind how anyone could prefer this garbage to Attitude or WarZone."

    That's an easy one:

WrestleMania 2000: Simple but fun controls that makes performing signature moves a lot easier.

WarZone/Attitude: Complicated key combo controls that'll make you press start to go to your Command List every minute or two to perform moves other than your basic shit.

The most important aspect in a game is being able to play it.

And WrestleMania 2000 had better animation

  • @AllieRX87

He must enjoy pausing the game over and over just to find out how to do a simple suplex lol!

  • @johnlucas1 I totally disagree. I HAVE both of those games (Attitude & War Zone, no ECW) & while they present an interesting atmosphere with soundbites & theme songs, both the create-a-character & in-ring gameplay is MUCH better on games from the WM2000 mold. Asmik was an EXCELLENT developer. Acclaim just ended up lame. Sorry to say. Try doing a realistic People's Elbow on Attitude vs. WM2000 & get back to me.

  • lol this was such a fun game

  • Gimmick infringement?!

  • The Rock has the coolest raised eyebrow OF THEM ALL.

  • No shit??? I loved this when it came out back then...I got it that Christmas it came out.

  • IT DOSNT MATTER IF YOU LIKE PANCAKES I LIKE WAFFLES!

  • this game and no mercy is the resdon istill play my n64 just amazing

  • this game wasnt as good as no mercy but it was still pretty good

  • It Doesnt Matter If You Like Pancakes LMFAO

  • @duckie4lifeENT

Take those pancakes shine 'em up real nice and stick it straight up your candy ass!

  • these commercials of old games make you wanna play them,im playin this on season mode right now on pj64 lol.

  • hah Hell yeah!

  • This game is the best. Revenge is tight too, but being a WWF fan, I prefer this one. We used to play those, and Smash Bro's. For many years. Damn they're just so good.

  • omg, i used to play this game all the time when i was growing up... it looks kind of gay now though lmao

  • oh nice

  • best n64 wrestling game in my opinion yes even better than no mercy (my opinion) go ahead no mercy fanboys boo me like i give a fuck lol jk i like no mercy but i like WM 2000 allot better (my opinion)

  • i like wm 2000 much better every one else are haters

  • you right wrestlemania is better than no mercy because in no mercy if you try the road to wrestlemania with a created wrestler when you are a couple of months into story mode your created wrestlers disspears you end up with a dummy that doesnt happen in wrestlemania 2000 thats why its number 1

  • @MRX31605 i know and no mercy is to slow

  • thq made the best wrestling games

  • @wholefnshow1 yeah. only on the n64. they made the worst wrestling games on the playstation like WCW backstage assault. i f***in hated that game.

  • @wholefnshow1 hell yeah they did, i still remember this commercial the pancakes part always got me since the rock was running with the smack down hotel and pancake jokes.

  • @wholefnshow1 still do but in the svr series too many glitches

  • @wholefnshow1 This was the only GREAT THQ WWF game Ever.

  • THQ and AKI... *sigh* where have the good times gone?

  • This game is awesome I ordered the game for my N64 and it still didn't come yet

  • this games awsome

  • The entrances was the best thing about this game imo...I loved it to the max along with WWF Attitude and Smackdown

  • Attitude was awesome!

  • I know wat up wit that? No mercy was a hell of a game but the short entrances really didnt fit. Kanes pyro only happens if u win(at the end) n well yea no mercy would of been better with fully entrances

  • The best wrestling ever.

U can have all the titles without going on story mode.

Crate future wrestlers like ROH and TNA guys

  • to the maker of this video:

THQ and AKI lost the rights to make new WCW games after WCW/nWo Thunder and Acclaim lost their rights to make new WWE games after WWF Attitude. THQ and AKI signed a contract to make WWE games using the same engine for the N64 while Acclaim made ECW games to Legends of Wrestling and new WCW games were being developed by Electronic Arts.

  • I thought everything after WWF Attitude was total garbage. Then again, only about a year after Attitude came out: WWF TV was total garbage so hey.

  • yeah i still have this game and still creating new wrestlers, so to the maker of this video know ur role and shut ur mouth!

  • Man this game was the shit when it came out,....as well as revenge...and no mercy

  • Ahhhh... "Revenge", those were the days... Dont really remember, but dont think you could create a superstar on "Revenge"... But then you could draft/create "Revenge" superstars to/on this game... That's WCW/NWO Revenge I'm refering to... To those who didn't kno... Ahhh, those were the days...
