Filming is due to start next year sometime after her Korean tour has finished up. I have to give major props to SM for allowing Boa to do this. I still can't believe it even as I am saying it. I've always enjoyed the Step It Up films and Save The Last Dance, so should be right up her alley. Robert Cort appears to also be involved as well. So at least they have the right people involved. While I am a bit concerned this being her first acting gig. Although if anyone can pull it off Boa Quan can.

Great News for anyone who hasn't heard yet. It appears Boa is going to be appearing in the next Duane Adler dance film. I damn near fell out of my chair when I heard this. This is beyond huge as finally Boa's hard work is finally starting for pay off. Not only is she going to be appearing in the film but is cast as the main female characters as well. This is a win win however you look at it. While her US Debut was a bit of a misstep this more then makes up for it.

I think its a little sad that she only gets a small stage to perform on but honestly its because she isnt as popular anymore and she just cant fill all the seats in big venues anymore. I've noticed her stages have pretty much gotten smaller as the years go on. But dont worry its only a slump and she will be on a big stage again :)

@Elspheth well yeah. I'm not saying that she is completely UNpopular but she is less popular than before. Over the years her album sales have decreased (quite a bit) especially her recent album. I too like her most recent style but I'm not sure that her Japanese audience does so much. Not only that but she hasn't really promoted her album all that much and she didnt get a good spot at A-nation. But other artists are in a bit of a slump too. (koda kumi, ayumi...)

I'm recently more into BoA. In the past I used to oppose her (and any other asian female singer who wasn't koda kumi!) but now I think she's pretty awesome. However, this tour looks kind of............boring. Like, from what was shown, the crowd looks kinda of stiff and not excited. Then again, I haven't seen the whole thing. Still, to me, it looked kinda lax.
