  • Also, there is the parent switching which is done via the weapon xml - useful if you need to relaod a barrel shot gun in a traditional way (see marshall Tac reload empty) I guess you already know that there are 3 different reload anims depending on what suit mode you are in.?

  • The 1P anims actually 'drive' the 3P, the main reason this was done was that you can see the your own shadow. The 1P anims were authored before the 3P - they defined the timings of the 3P anims. The 1P and 3P skels are the same, that allowed us to play 3P anims (getting knocked off you feet in the single player for example) in 1P - a very elegant solution.

  • @xXComrade24Xx Mag release? Maybe the gun has one.. idk, he doesn't use the left hand to pick the mag at all, he only uses the left had to insert a new mag, but the mag is removed, Scripts18 said the mag ain't removed.. LOLOL

  • @MrHeJohn nope, for crysis 2 you have to use a fullbody skeleton which is actually shared with third person.

  • @dblazincic11 yeah alot :/, its way more complicated working with a third person rig in FP, animations for weapon parts (magazine for example) are seperated on export and than played back together using a script ingame.

    at the Nova,using the default Crysis 2 pose I see. :p I also like this Transformed-AK-AR15-Lazor Rifle thing (idk what is it so..),Oh also you manage to get Attachments on it,Awesome.

    All-in-All I like it. (so much animation sequences must be a pain I think,eh? xD)

    But does crysis support reload full and empty ?

    Yes, it does. At least it should because the game itself uses them. Not to mention separate reloads for each suit module (Armor, Stealth, Normal)

  • @ODX999 right, crysis 2 supports on top different draws, melee, jump, walk and sprint animations etc.

    you can edit the weapon script to load random animations or define them using lua and flowgraph on specific maps.

    Actually everything is animated in fp :) aswell the blend poses( up,down,left,right,strafe ) no coded sway or bob.
