The colors for black and white weren't switched just because they could, the WHOLE game comments on the relationship between absolute truth and ideals, as represented by the physical play on words 'black and white'. If you're still gonna be all sad about it, then the philosophical content of the game (yes it exists) was wasted on you.

I hope you understand I wasn't saying that the content of the game was lacking in any way, I was simply trying to state how I missed the unique attribute of the cartridges sharing the same color as the game's name. Admittedly, Pokemon Black/White isn't my favorite in the series but I enjoyed it just as much as I did previous games.
