just eating other is not very kind, because turkish are not cannibals ,because they learnt cuisine , from the greek , actually a lot of turkish of today has greek ancestors who were obliged to become turkish due to an incredible tax rate sometimes 90% !! actually a lot of turkish are not from far asia , but have greek ancestory, obliged to leave christiannity and speak turkish ,that is why you do not see so evident asian features!!
