@mredvin2010 Silverfish do not hurt you. I live in a stronghold that i fixed up it was actually so close to the surface. Now and then ill brake a bloc kand summon silverifs hand i trap them in a glass container as pets :3

the tool that helps destroy mob spawner blocks is the pickaxe btw.....and also golden apples can be found in spawn rooms, but there is only a .05% chance of finding one.

wow, the stronghold you found was in such a mess! the one i found in my world was pretty much in tact and only have a few rooms with broken walls. Also, that fountain you found is meant to be like the main area, the middle of stronghold, you could say. when i found mine it was all lit up and looked all nice.

There's a very rare chance that golden apples can spawn in abandoned mineshaft chests so i say you should explore those aswell. Sometimes there's a good amount of chests in close proximity to eachother and there may be dungeons in the shaft aswell.

Also i'm sure you kept exploring that stronghold in the next episode, but i believe that there's a library in every stronghold generated at the bottom of the stronghold somewhere. There's a chest or two in there and there could be apples.
