@ProtossAndNeutrons if the barrel of the gun isn't bored it will only kill at close (almost point blank) range and as long as the blade has a point or edge and a strong enough locking pin you could easily use this to kill. in self-defense of course

Its only illegal to be spring loaded if it fire the blade like a projectile. If it only extends and locks the blade via a liner lock then it perfectly legal. And FYI its not a hidden blade its called a Xiphoid >> Look up a sight called exotic automatic if you want to learn how to make you own depending on what type you would like :) \m/

@Phenixtri dude it is called a hidden blade, and i think its called that because of assassins creed, ac2, acb, and acr, all the same game series, and the hidden gun is from that too.

And for the rerecord they have been around alot longer than the games. the hidden gun might be original but im going to have to look into that.

@Phenixtri yes i think so. it stays in position when hes stabbing with is, but i don't know if theres a way to lock it when its retracted.

@shapeworkstudios1 Yea its cant be locked when retracted in the current design. Tho he could add a linear lock at the back with another string set up. For example flicking the wrist upwards would as shown would retract the blade while bending the wrist downwards would unlock the blade and allow it to be extended. The blade would re lock after retracting the blade so in a way its kinda similar to the way a car seat belt works.

as I watched this, I thought about just how well designed this is, most rigs I've seen on youtube have used the ring to pull the blade out needing the hand held back to use it. I I think thats how the blades supposed to work in game, (though sometimes it seems inconsitant, the blades were probably upgraded in the story) but this is much better, it securley locks the blade in place. I'd say it's better the games blade. The hidden gun, not quite gamelike, but also works well. Predator blades rule!
