This is Micheal and he's been doing it about 3 years now, and he know's how to self rescue himself from the back or front, Iv'e personally had to rescue myself before and it really doesn't matter front or back, you just have to be mindful of your surroundings and carry a set of ascenders, or a couple of safety loops.
safty line connected in back means you are fucked if you fall... you will have to call some one to get your rookie ass.. try changein ropes in mid air... might save your ass some day.. first sighn of a rookie..
