Really, really nice! ive been watching your vids for over half an hour now. you really have the ear for production! - i didn't hear an applause after the song on this video!
What a great choice of songs to cover. You all swing it out to the point of bare recognition and then bring it back oh so smoothly. Great work fellows. Hope you are having fun with it.
i adore the way you can play in such smooth/melodic style yet keep it full of nice musical ideas.
and jake, would really like to hear you playing beatles' i am the walrus with the trio. i wonder how you would elaborate on the distinctive chordal progression.best,
absolutely beautiful. loved it. don't worry about the visuals, i'm running it thru home speakers and the sound is great. thanks for these great posts. 5's
Thanks! Although the close mic'ing (the guitar goes direct to the recorder, in fact) does filter out a good amount of ambient sound of a large restaurant. Not seen in this video are about 150+ people having their Sunday brunch... Also, we play very quite, you may notice the drummer does not even have a bass drum. We have a lot of fun and many friends at this venue, we play here about four times a year.
Damn, I wish you guys played a Jazz Brunch nearer to me. I'd put aside my eggs florentine and just sit there drinking coffee and snapping my fingers and grooving. Until the manager asked me kindly to move along.
You would be snapping and drinking nothing because you would be required to bring your guitar and play with us! I love all your arrangements and I'm getting great ideas from you as to what new tunes add to my/our repertoire (All my solo guitar arrangements are played also with the trio and vise versa). Would you be into posting a duo performance? We could swap the audio/video files online and edit them together, I think it could be very cool.
Gorgious man, Love it!

Thank you. Walrus would certainly be a chalange! I'll take some time in the near future to look into it.
