  • @BassAnglerMike33 They turn red durring their spawn. They double their weight durring this time and then die.

  • oo the one i caught was really big too fought so hard too

  • @BassAnglerMike33 It means they're burning fat reserves in their body.

  • @BassAnglerMike33 it wasnt in its spawning colors yet. i catch silver sockeye salmon all the time.

  • is this fishable?

  • Beautiful. The water is so clear.

  • Nice! We just caught like eight of those yesterday in donner creek in truckee CA!! They were soo good and really fun to catch!! We saved some of thier eggs and want to try to hatch them. Do any of you have any hints?

  • you wont be able to hatch the eggs unless they are fertilized...if u had a male and squirted his seamen onto the eggs u might have a chance

  • they are beggin to be caught!!! yum

  • Is Kokanee the same as Sockeye? Nice video.

  • kokanee is the same as sockeye except the kokanee are landlocked sockeye that don't return to the ocean

  • Cool, like our landlocked salmon on the east coast, landlocked atlantic salmon.
