I personally was impressed with this film. I think its direct in-your-face way of making you confront the tortures of being a target in middle-school were very effective.

I think it's a bit better than a 5.5/10, but to each his own. Maybe I think more highly of it because it was the first of his films I've seen. It's a simple film, but the writing and Heather's performance give it much needed depth, I think. I agree about the last shot...it's very well done.
