It's in low demand with actually a fairly low price compared to the money supply (paper debt) out there, with rates held low till 2013 for USD and others likely to keep pace. Without interest rates over 10% and large amounts of non-crashing non-fraudulent paper assets out there (bond crisis/bubble ) there's nowhere safer to be long-term than gold.

I too am closing all of my credit cards and refinancing my credit card debt with a loan I got from a local credit union! Investing in a local credit union that is a non profit bank is better because banks like this reinvest their profits in the community. If Americans all did this together it would be the most powerful thing we could do together to get these monopoly banks under control.
I deposited $200 in the atm at Bank of America when i realized that what they had updated on the computer didn't match my balances and the money went missing.
BOA told me they looked at the camera and couldn't physically see me putting money in the envelope and bounced my account. I argued my point and didn't get anywhere with them, refused to pay and got bad credit.

It's in low demand with actually a fairly low price compared to the money supply (paper debt) out there, with rates held low till 2013 for USD and others likely to keep pace. Without interest rates over 10% and large amounts of non-crashing non-fraudulent paper assets out there (bond crisis/bubble ) there's nowhere safer to be long-term than gold.
For me the returns on gold far exceed 48/yr holding < 1500 cash

Citibank Public Affairs issued the following statement regarding today's incident: "A large number of protesters entered our branch at 555 La Guardia Place around 2:00 PM today. They were very disruptive and refused to leave after being repeatedly asked, causing our staff to call 911. Investing in a local credit union that is a non profit bank is better because banks like this reinvest their profits in the community. I deposited $200 in the atm at Bank of America when i realized that what they had updated on the computer didn't match my balances and the money went missing.
BOA told me they looked at the camera and couldn't physically see me putting money in the envelope and bounced my account. I argued my point and didn't get anywhere with them, refused to pay and got bad credit.
They F#$%n stole it and nobody was held accountable.

The word for this is (if the claims are factual) -- "KIDNAPPING." Citibank security seems to have given false information leading to forceful removal under criminally false pretenses. If you have any dealings with Citibank, Wells Fargo, Chase or any other too big to fail, close your accounts and take your money to a small community bank. DO THIS NOW and let these giants fall and fail for good.

I have taken my money out from the bank; If EVERYONE withdrew their money and placed it in physical commodities like gold and silver, there would be a run which would create a domino effect and the Banksters would fall. Unfortunately, Eric Cantona suggested this and very few did! RENEGE ON DEBTS, WITHDRAW YOUR CASH FROM THE BANKS, BUY PHYSICAL COMMODITIES AND SPREAD LOVE NOT GREED!
