Where were the referees? How come the kid apparently guilty of multiple late hits wasn't booted from the game? This is in no way an excuse for the dad's behavior, but I coach youth football, and I'd be lighting up the refs, and have a video ready for the next league meeting.

And the opposting coach being interviewed trys to present as he's so mellow. Yeah, I bet. He should have been the one rushing the field and pulling his cheap shot player off immediately. I've coach virtually every sport and I would have benched him for the next three games and if he or his parents said so much as boo, I would have kicked him off the team permanently.
While the parent that rushed the field was wrong from the moment he crossed the sideline, I bet that late hit by the big kid probably was not the first. The refs, had they been all over that from the moment it happened, probably would have precluded the dad pulling that stunt.

Media: music, movies, etc have a huge effect--but its because parents are too hapless morally to defend their kids from it. Obviously, this guy is a direct example of a lack of self-control.
