What happind AMERICA? people are SO uptight bout the stupidst things!! I find it humorus and i cant help myself to say "POLITICALLY INCORRECT" things just to watch peopl "CRINGE" im a whit, HONKY CRACKR and my wife is....???? Blak? African American? Colored? Negro? Tar baby, Spear Chucker! umm...? I just call her "MY WIFE" and after 23 yrs.....her and i have had some laffs over the ridicoulousnes of the way peopl are so unsure and uncomfortable with even acknowlging our skin tone! funny &..sad
Wow, think about this - this was FORTY YEARS ago, and the car company deliberately wrote a commercial where a "red man" was smarter than two "white men"! Even without that extra bit, it's a great commercial - thanks for posting it!
@FlaviaR This was back when the color of our skin didn't matter nearly as much as it does now. Back then we were accepting - now there area racist on both sides.
@tomperanteau, I have to disagree. The civil rights marches, Brown vs. Bd. of Ed. & Loving VS Virginia testify otherwise. It's more that people didn't talk about it, or question the way things were as much as they do now. I'm sure that a lot more people were accepting than those legal battles would indicate, & yeah, there are still stupid pigs on either side of the fence, but if things seem worse today, it's because we talk about it more & are more critical of ourselves.

Jay Silverheels is my G-Grandpa and I love this Commercial and I remember it from the 70's and My Father George William Lung and I both laughed then, as I do today. Thank You for adding this and allowing me to remember again and laugh too. Dee Jay Silverheels

We really ought to bring back political incorrectness. People have become far too uptight without it.
