Alfa, you say you don't agree with it but you remain part of the denomination. By staying with the organization you are practically saying it is OK. What do you do to oppose this?

The SDA denomination vs. a small group of people? Talk about David and Goliath! Can you imagine the Southern Baptist Convention harrassing some group they didn't like for calling themselves "Baptist"? Only a big group with a lot of money and a power trip like the Seventh Day Adventists would try to smash a little congregation like this. It isn't the first time either.What egos the leaders of the SDA denomination must have. They are NUTS!

No you don't, you help finanace the conference who finance the church only. We don't have enough money to pay for lawyers and such. at least where i come from anyway

You might be surprised upon doing some research into the issue of lawsuit funding. There's actually a letter available, a scan of which is online, wherein Robert. W. Nixon answered an inquiry on the subject. He explained that the lawsuit funding comes from the annual appropriation, and that appropriation comes from the tithe. So yes, there is an actual issue of accountability here.

well there's good and bad in every denomination i mean catholic popes and priests raped and molested little kids, sure the Adventist Church may have their faults but that doesn't mean that their doctrines and the concepts are wrong. It's just the way some people follow those doctrines. I'm an SDA and i'm pretty sane...

@civreal Actually, a lot of SDA doctrine is wrong but that is another issue. Attacking little groups b/c they want to use the word Adventist is just wrong and shows a real power trip the leaders are on. The SDA are not the only ones to come from the Advent Movement.

Actually Adventist Doctrine is all biblically true. However most people believe that the SDA church take things out of context which is actually not true because unlike most other churches we don't disregard the Old Testament. And because we use both we've discovered different meanings of verses and scripture passage that are sound to both old and the new which is the way it should be. If we didn't have extremes there wouldn't be misunderstandings.

@civreal I spent a long time studying SDA doctrine years ago.I found it, as well as most Sabbatarian groups' doctrine in general, to be totally untrue.I won't go into it all here but Sabbath keeping, the Sanctuary Doctrine, Investigative Judgment,Ellen White prominence, soul sleep/conditional immortality are all WRONG, UNTRUE, UNBIBLICAL, whatever you want to call it. You seem to be happy with it so you probably won't check it out thoroughly and find out for yourself.
