  • My whole philosophy is beautifully expressed in this video.

Hooray! for people who bravely defended the joy of living.

  • Wowww! When I think of all the money people spend on drug, they could just listen to this music and get the same buzz. Joe Burke has allways been my favorite accordion player. Splendid.

  • Loved Westport and Matt Malloy's...one of my fondest memories of Ireland.

  • Theres nothing like the REAL Irish Guinnes and a bag of Tayto's on Matt Malloy's excellent music nice irish tradition.... ahh miss it see you westport in 5 weeks :D

  • Excellent -- I was just looking for a recording of Gooseberry Bush, thanks for this video!

I have a PJ Hernon version of Gooseberry Bush, which has some swing to it, which I like. Interesting, how much of a difference a little swing can make.

  • is that brendan beagley beside ann

  • Two lovely reels. The Limestone Rock is one of my favourite tunes. The turnover is great with a lovely lift. What a player!Joe Burke is and always will be the best Accordion player in the country.EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great music! Thank you!

  • Having bought the Music at Matt Molloy's CD a few months back I tried picturing the pub with the music and actually the interior shown here isn't far off what I imagined myself!! Great quality and clarity on this vid Mike, excellent once again.

  • Breat stuff. All I can remeber of Westport, when I drove a coach there, years ago, was not wanting to walk back up the hill to the hotel in the rain. I found a door in the town which had a notice on: Taxi & Funeral Service. Very confused I asked about a taxi back to the hotel. Seems it was all one business. "It ensures I am always busy" the man said! "I can get you there one way or another, dead or alive!" ONLY in Ireland could this be true.

  • That was great Mike! Joe Burke's fingers just seem to fly back and forward on these buttons!
