Well the way i see it (remember this is not a fact it's my personal opinion so I might be wrong) in a part in the game they say that GF's make you forget things.. What gave him strenght was the thought of her but he couldn't find her and when he couldn't remember her face he kinda gave up and well died.

Then suddenly she appears and finds him dead but as she hugs him everything reappears and they seem to be at the place they promised they would meet if they lost eachother. --->continue--->

normally I hate final fantasy couples that aren't yaoi. And I HATE the woman in the games, but when I played this game I couldn't help but to like this couople, the love story is so prefectly set and Rinoa is not only the only female character I can stand but I rather like her alot and she bested many of my favorite male characters. I completely enjoyed the game and it got its place among my other strongly beloved games. This was a grat video aswell.
