  • hahah yeah i never heard of them till underworld "beneath the radar" came out and i still have it on vinyl

  • I love this so much. I'm so glad that there are other people that appreciate it.

  • Vanilla Sky made me love this song

  • Ich bestaune Haarpracht und Gewand von Karl Hyde. Der Mann hat sich im Alter fraglos zu seinem Vorteil entwickelt...

  • Love this song!!

  • My favourite 80´s song!!!

  • I have managed to collect the entire catalogue of these guys, Freur, its rather incredible, best stuff is unheard of by the rest of the world. Some of it is eons ahead of thier time. Anyone who has heard the rest of their stuff will agree.

  • that was the only song of freur that becam efamous in germany. and i'm happy that i remembered the songs name.

  • COOL I love 80's music this song is mood driven great style.

  • I always assumed this was one of those songs that wouldn't hold up well on a live performance, but I am happy to admit I was wrong.

  • The drummer is intense.

  • Hahaha, no shit! He scares me at 0:38

  • a mes 2 frere avec tout mon amour R.I.P

  • the greatest version!!!!

  • non capisci un cazzo

  • Go play with you Barbie and shut up.

  • rick really looks like richie hawtin here

  • look at 3:25.

  • daains I'm intrigued by your comment.

It seems to me that mst members of this band seem to be grimacing. Does this mean they are they 'riding the tiger' during this performance?

  • The bloke below me..you can always, I mean always(almost), supress emotions.Thsi is not a great science. To ride "the tiger" is! (Great science:)

  • These blokes went on to become Underworld and write 'Born Slippy', which just goes to show that we can all learn from our mistakes.

  • Oh really? what did they learn from 'Born Slippy' then?

  • Well, for a start, they kicked this weirdo behind the drums who later joined the "World's most pathetic drummer" competition... Second, the worked really hard on their clothing style -- which is to say something considering Karl Hyde's outfit in the "Born slippy" video...

But musically, "Doot Doot" is of course a great piece, in fact much better than "Born Slippy", which is IMHO far below Underworld's usual standards.

  • @eiffe look up karl's bio and u will find out.

  • @eiffe Beautiful Burnout...that's what :)

  • Hmm interesting. What do you suggest they could they have learned from 'Born Slippy''?

  • all inn

  • It is in itunes, there is the original mix, but I can't guarantee that it's Freur doing it -- sounds damn close

  • Why the fuck can't I find a place to download this song from? Don't say itunes because they don't have it. I love this song.

  • THANK YOU!!! Ive been looking for this song FOREVER!!! Your awsome! :)

  • magic, wonderful, mysterious, great!

  • Great song.

But they're playing in playback in a very bad way.

    It's a fake live.

  • what you consider bad playback is actually a great live performance!

  • Are you sure?

At 1.45 who's singing "doot" instead of the singer?

    For example.

They've always been playing in playback.

The recordering is always the same.

Look for the other "live" shows on the tube and see.

    Anyway, I repeat, great song.

  • they are playing live. Only chorus and some drums are on tape

  • Nice addition to the Freur vids!

  • underworld was part of freur, the same guy who made 'born slippy' i.e.

  • i agree with everyone..the movie, the era..etc. the very few good things in my life.

  • wonderful song

    !

  • I had finding this song for several years, since I watched Vanilla Sky (elevator escene makes wanna..just see that). Really thanks from Mexico!

  • Great song! '80's are the best decade for sure!

  • I HIGHLY AGREE!!! 80'S music came with PERSONALLITY!! (you just can't find good music like this n-e-more) :-(

  • @tromsorbk i'm so jealous of people who lived it... [i was born in 1990]
