So through it and the Supremacy Clause the National Govt has power, which the 10th Amend. does not deny it. So under the Commerce Clause it can be mandated that unless a State does so and so another State or foreign entity may not interact with it.

So through it and the Supremacy Clause the National Govt has power, which the 10th Amend. does not deny it. So under the Commerce Clause it can be mandated that unless a State does so and so another State or foreign entity may not interact with it.

Private roads would have higher tolls and would be less well maintained as maintenenance is expensive, see Deepwater Horizon Blowout valves. The Feds subsidized you and allowed you to survive and they have done it since the beginning of our Republic, they subsidized roads, canals, railroads and airports.

@Meade556 Why have kids? I Love them..and I donate A Lot to charity...PRIVATELY. If someone wants to sign up to get paid 1 Cent, that's their choice..someone's marketability, and negotiation skills determines their Salary. Private roads would be better maintained, as a private business needs customers to turn A Profit, unlike a govt which just prints Money. No roads, Airports, anything should nbe subsidized..the market should dictate things

@TheHAMMER77777 A private road would be poorly kept, because either you use it or you don't chump and a road can only be in one place, there cannot be roads on top of roads. If there are no other jobs 1 cent is not a choice, it will be no choice, so don't get high and mighty on me. The reward for work should not be poverty. Right a profit means you get charged more for having roads, no gov roads, airports, your bills go up and up and up

@Meade556 No there are many private roads that are very well kept...Fed Ex and UPS give me great service vs. the stupid post office. People can work or not work For Any Amount the negotiate..companies will need workers and pay what the market dictates. Because of competition, private enterprise would actually drive prices down.....

@TheHAMMER77777 FedEx and UPS are far more expensive and to be honest I have never noticed any difference. USPS is cheaper and the service just as good. Markets are not some omniscient force, markets don't determine the objective merit of things, only their price and the market as has been shown time and time again bids wages down and prices up.

Why would any business use them if they were more expensice-thats how the free market works..if they don't provide a product someone wants, their businesses would fail and as of yet, UPS and Fedex are still around. Markets are the ultimate equalizer. There are private roads..google it..i believe the New Jersey Turnpike is in the process of being privitized
