I personally have no problem with controlled immigration. The problem I have is when immigrants try to bring, and impose, their culture on the host society. Also with 7-9 children, there are that many more to support the parents as they get old. It's just a pattern for any civilization. I personally have no problem with controlled immigration. The problem I have is when immigrants try to bring, and impose, their culture on the host society. There was nothing in North America, nor Australia/New Zealand prior to the arrival of the Englishmen and other europeans except small tribal societies. Sweden is much different though it wasn't based on immigration, and the original inhabitants of that land made it into what it is today, unlike North America & Aus/NZ where the newcomers that modernized everything about those lands.

If we helped them get food they could have 1-2 chilldren which live a long life instead of having 9 children which 7 of them die. @paskiiainen the reason for why third world countries continue to create so many children is cause they have an unbelievably high infant mortality rate. Also with 7-9 children, there are that many more to support the parents as they get old. It's just a pattern for any civilization. Have alot of children to support you, then as the country gets better off, they need less and less children because each child has a higher chance of surviving and being successful.
