  • does anyone know where i can find those chrome wheels? i looked on their site but i could only find the other kind do they still make them?

  • rough for weight saving. Performance is the focus.

  • @HungDGunn this car does have windows ive seen pics of it with them up. and if it didnt what would be the point of the ac?

  • Now to my response I think the car could save some weight and run very nice if it had a quad rotor engine (28B) from a mazda 787B then it would have the displacement of a 6cylinder with the power output of a 12 while maintaing a weight of a civic power to weight ratio would be phenomenal

  • I just want to lay it out there for the users on here that are confused it seems it is impossibe to put TWO superchargers on a V8 I think what you mean is a twin screw supercharger and or a cetripetal super charger in which case you need to be more specific on the other hand you can put two turbo-chargers and or centripetal superchargers on a V8 need to research or read more often my best advice take an engineering course so then you may k ow what your talking about!

  • If I owned one the cops would follow me every where,

What is the build time? and what make of paint would you recomend.

I have a 383 in the crate I had on a dyno it peaked at 472 hp.

Its tricked out. my relitives build the cobra..I am planing to build a good paint room and it will be right. the first thing I would do is park it at the police station

just to piss them off/or not.

I would love to build a GT40 but at 6.2 and 210lbs we have a problem.

  • @keefer2111 well, the website says 6'3" and 275 is the max, but it's designed for LS series engines, so unless that 383 is an LS1 then you could just use the motor from a donor corvette like the kit recomends. getting a donor C5 corvette is the smartest option, unless youd rather spend twice as much by buying all the replacement parts from a GM parts dealer. still, even if you pay $15,000 for a donor vette, you'd have the entire car done for $45,000 - $50,000

  • GTM is one of the best Kits to have.

  • honestly this GTM doesnt look like the builder did a great job on the interrior ive seen much much better. still mad sick car man

  • There are several of these cars out there with unique setups. Interior layouts vary from cheap, modest, to all out. So the nay sayers on here don't know. These cars are designed well and perform triple the money. Hell, they got one with a LS 9 and custom transaxle (tooling is complete)---Non Porsche is what I'm saying. You aint seen nothing yet.

  • It has power windows.

  • the interior is rough as guts, looks every bit a kit car. But its a great looking machine, with a bit of money and craftsmanship on the interior this could be a very nice car

  • I bet an electric drive train in that car could rival the Tesla.

  • sexy

  • Funny how kit cars never have roll up windows. Imagine going 200mph with the windows down. Probably not too fun.

  • @HungDGunn most kitcars have roll up windows.

  • @HungDGunn this car does, it's a quality piece, unlike most

  • @HungDGunn the factory five gtm car has a manual window roll up kit or a power window kit. all kit cars have side windows. unless you make the car wrong. in which case you probably would since you are a fucking retard

  • @HungDGunn these cars have power windows

  • Gawd! For the last time... there is no such thing as a vette engine. Its nothing more than a chevy small block thats used in a vette but not only in a vette.

  • People always refer to the LS engines as Corvette engines.

  • well thats where your wrong the LS9 IS a vette engine

  • thats where your wrong the LS9 is a corvette engine :P

  • Head lights slightly Say Ford GT,body style says Saleen S7,tail lights, slightly Ferarri, but, more or less their origanal looking.

  • looks like a hybrid of an enzo with a carrera gt

  • Not really.... but if you say so...

  • I would say Saleen S7, Carrera GT and MC12 mix. My neighbor owns one and it runs wonderfully! great car i recommend it

  • I think this is a way better alternative than buying a real sports car like a Lamborghini or Ferrari. I mean, you build it yourself, you save a ton of money in the process, and you won't be afraid to go all out on a track day with this.

  • @unluckykid256932 AND it's quicker than some of those other high end super cars. Faster too

  • @unluckykid256932 and also it looks like it would be somethin like a ferrari, not to a real car man but to the average lady that likes rich guys

  • i dont like the rear end much

  • una pregunta? when you drive ur car do you feel any heat coming from the back? besides the kit for $19,000 how much did you fork out for the rest as far as suspension axle motor etc.? i have a bodyshop and im planning on getting one do yuo think its easier to put it together or buying it complet and what did you do as far as getting it registered? I love the color and im proud to say que mi jente tiene talento para ser un projecto como este from Philly Mark G /Fajardo

    Pr nice job

  • Que pasa, amigo? Sorry to butt in your conversation but from what Ive researched youre looking at about 60,000 total. And thats w/ a ls3-ls6 engine. I believe those engines in the new stingrays are hitting for about $15000 in a crate. Youll also need the transaxle from a 911, $5000 I think. Good luck w/ your build pally.

  • No ese, dont listen to this fool about engines, all you need is to go down to the junkyard and find an LS1 engine (IMPORTANT: not LT1) for cheap and drop it in the kit, stock it should produce around 300-315 horse power, and can easily be rebuild to get 400-1000hp, no kidding...

the transaxle, your on your own buddy!

  • @koocaracha Transaxle's from same junkyard- Porche, and you will need the rest of the corvette for kit spec handles, glass, ect.

  • this cars r really cheap they start @ 19K they got a LS7 engine makin low 10s @ 1/4 mile but the bad thing is that u gotta build it yourself...

  • Plus that 19k doesn't include engine/trans.

  • hmm dammit thats fucked up...

  • You should've known that man. Hell a brand new LS7 runs 12k.

  • Don't forget, you can always get a LS1 crate or the like and build up to make as much if not more power than the LS7.

  • If you have a corvette C5, does that cover everything not provided by the kit??

  • Yes.

  • No, you also need a Porsche 911 transaxle from 1990-1998 and a Porsche G50 or G50 variant transmission including clutch disk, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, inner CV joints and starter.

  • Youll still need a porche 911 or GT3

    transmission to complete it.

    Otherwise, yes.

  • for the most part. i believe the only other thing is to get a g50 porsche transaxle.

  • true, but the LS7 is still more widely known as chevy's high performance engine. But still, u can find LS1s as cheap as dirt at junkyards!!!

  • Not quite... no way your getting out for anywhere near $19K....

  • Maybe not but the 60k people are talking about is bullshit. Screw LS7 engines. Build any small block V8 for 5 grand and smoke an LS7.

  • screw ls7 engines?!? the only better one is the LSX 454 imho

  • i saw this car once my whole life

  • if someone put a bodykit on this car i would kill them

  • im not sure you could anyways LOL

  • That car would go pretty well with a V10 Viper motor.

  • Can you get them as crate motors?

  • Another guy said a Viper engine wouldn't mount with a GT2 tranny, but I'd imagine so, money talks.

  • I would use a V12 Lamborghini engine with a semi automatic tiptronic transmission. But a viper engine doesn't sound bad at all.

  • if you have the space to put a v12 in there you might want to use a custom v8 with twin superchargers -> 1200+hp

  • Twin superchargers?

  • yes, someone suggested putting a v12 inside under the hood and i came up with the idea to put a v8 with two superchargers which makes it more compact and more powerful. they can double the output of most v12's if done right. for example the enzo has 600+hp but there's a twin supercharged corvette with 1200+hp. same thing with a twin supercharger challenger, 1000hp; the bugatti veyron uses four superchargers

  • You're an idiot. There is a HUGE difference between a supercharger and a turbocharger.

You have no idea what you are talking about...

  • nope, i know exactly what difference it has with the turbo, a turbo uses the energy going out the exhaust. a supercharger uses the power from the engine to blow compressed air into the cylinders.

i guess you just don't know what i am talking about. ignorant imbecile

  • Lol, you do not give up. The Veyron does not use superchargers at all.

  • well the french call them turbo superchargers. so they might have been talking about turbos. still it doesn't prove me wrong. the fact that the veyron has turbos does not mean there's not cars with two superchargers

  • Check my comments... I never said that twin supercharged vehicles don't exist. I just said that you dont know what you are talking about because you get the two so easily confused.

  • oh but i know exactly what i am talking about, dipshit. i just don't know that much about the veyron. but i certainly know the difference between turbo and supercharger as i explained earlier, and i quote the source that lead to a mislead belief:

"P.S. The description also claims the Veyron has four turbo superchargers, which sounded weird to us." search google for that quote, it's not hard to see how someone would have gotten confused if their own mechanics can't decide which one it is

  • The correct name for a turbocharger is turbosupercharger. A supercharger is anything that inducts air, and adding a turbine adds the turbo- nomenclature to the term.

  • i read a similar description somewhere else and thought it had superchargers, i guess i was wrong about that. still, no big deal what i said about the gtm is still valid

  • search for twin supercharged vehicles and tell me they don't exist. ok then go fuck your little sister's dildo, the one that she's gone ass to mouth with, the little slut

  • ones belt driven one is exhost driven.

  • Turbos and Superchargers. What they both do is give the engine more air than would naturally find its own way into the engine. For anything to burn, you need air. More air = more performance.. up to a point. The Veyron has less displacement than a Dodge Viper but twice the power. I believe Ive read its got 4 turbos. Supercharger is more an american thing. But.. what the hell is this Factory Five GTM ? Ive never seen it.

  • It's a kit car that uses a crappy Vette engine.

  • we are not shipping these cars to colombia i dont care how much yip you have.

  • The interior leaves ALOT to be desired. All the design seems to be on the exterior. I want a dash that looks as good as the exterior (or better)... the angle of the cetner console looks uncomfortable. This has got to be a near daily driver, not a track car.

  • The kit is 19K and all you need is an engie trans axle and wheels and a few minor things.

  • the car comes as basically a bare chassis and body. you need alot of things.

  • Not the complete kit. There are two kits a "complete" one that only needs the Porsche transaxle and an engine. But there is another kit that requires a doenor corvette.

  • touche.

  • LMAO!

  • "THE" Porsche transaxle? What, they only made one?

  • No smartass! It takes the G50 unit for up to 575hp and over that you need a GT2 transaxle, which costs 15K.

  • Whatever... So why is a stuffy old English professor interested in cars? (I capitalized English. Do I get a gold star?)

Anyway in Columbia most people speak Spanish and English it is getting closer to an even 50% all the time. Some speak Portuguese if they are from Brazil.

  • Columbia! OKAY ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?

and what the hell does "onlt" mean?

  • I received a phone call while typing the reply and hurried at the end. It is a typo...meant to say "only."

And you still have it wrong...it's evident you've never been to COLOMBIA. Maybe you have visited the Disrtict of "Columbia" but have never been to the country of "Colombia."

Why would you lie? Even in Spanish, it's spelled "Colombia."

  • lmao fighting noobs on yt

  • First I have to deal with someone that can't spell his country's name correctly now a month later an un-invited jerk who thinks acronyms is a form of communication signs on with what he / she / it percieves as a witty remark...

  • He mean's Columbia.... as in America.. The continent Colombus discovered...Not America as in the U.S. You act so smart but do not know this?.. Don't hesitate to check my spelling..English is my second language, and I think I am pretty good at it.

  • No, wrong again. He meant Colombia as in South America. Read it all before you jump to conclusions. For your information, it wasn't Colombus who discovered this continent. His true name was Cristobal Colon and he simply claimed it. Americus Vespucci, (Thus the name America), was here before him and the Vikings before him and the Inuits on the land bridge from Russia before them.

  • Well, if you're going to be a spelling/grammar nazi, it "country's" (as in, the name belonging to that country), not "countries" (as in the plural of country).

Eat your own dog food, princess.

  • I suggwst you keep yourself occupied elswhere. Maybe hopping after someone who gives a shit about your opinion. The "party" you're referring to was over 6 months ago and I don't recall either of us giving you am invitation to it...

  • Bad grammar doesn't have a "use by" date. Neither does being a knob-jockey. You're awesome at both.

    Kudos!!

  • they cost about $40,000 and up to build (kit costs around $25,000) they use any ls engine (ls1,ls2,ls7 ect.)(i am not sure about the ls9 it would depend on what the chassis and transaxle are rated at) and they use a Porsche transaxle and require a bunch of parts from a donor Corvette. For the full info just go to factory five's website

  • These cars are awesome! How much does a full kit cost, and what engines do they take?

  • Full kit cost is 19K

  • These cars are awesome! How much does a full kit cost, and what engines do they take?

  • the kit is $19,000 and usually takes 30K to complete but could be done for less.

  • Awesome! Now, where to find $30,000...

  • It can be done for way less than 30K

  • Um it does not come with an engine dude. Way less? No,, I don"t think so.

  • @112namrepus you can get a chevy 350 400hp for 3 grand so yeah way less then 30k haha

  • so, $19,000 (GTM Kit) + $3,000 (350) + Suspension and brakes + wheels and tires. I don't think that all that is going to be a LOT less than $8,000.

Your best bet is to buy a 2001- present corvette that had a branded title and therefore a reduced price, but has everything you need. That's anywhere from as low as $5000 all the way to $30,000. Most 2003 vettes that have some damage are just under 20K. if it's bad mabey closer to 10K. Still do you want to half ass your dream car? It will cost $

  • super awesome car! i like this color combo too especially with the wing!
