To the people who are saying the last 3 spider-man films were lame, and terrible seriously needs to lay off, i mean come on, I'm looking forward to this as much as the next guy but no one here can say that the previously spider-man films sucked. Directors back then were only trying to be creative and faithful to the comics at the same time, otherwise who would watch them. What I'm saying is whether a comic book storyline is creative or from the start there should be no hate, only appreciate it.

@daiveedino Spider-Man is supposed to use mechanical web-shooters to shoot web! In all of the comics, cartoons, movies and TV series prior to the Sam Raimi trilogy, Peter was not able to shoot web from his skin so he had to create and use mechanical web-shooters to do so. Each web-shooter required a new web-cartridge whenever the web ran out.
The Amazing Spider-Man is a much more accurate Spider-Man movie and therefore we will thankfully see Peter creating and using the web-shooters.
@daiveedino The villain in this movie is The Lizard, who was actually one of the first super villains that Spider-Man ever fought.
You also need to understand that the Spider-Man comic books were for the most part more serious and violent than what the very campy and childish Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies were.

@Justan0500 Mechanical web-shooters are a much better idea because they show how much of a genius Peter is, they are much more realistic, and they can make fights with villains more interesting when Peter runs out of web.
As for the stupid organic web-shooters, those involved Peter being able to shoot web from the exact same skin point on both wrists by pressing the palms of his hands. That is a very stupid and lazy idea!

@ArtistWonders As for Mary Jane's whereabouts, she won't be in this movie because it's based on Peter's life in high school. In the comics Peter never knew Mary Jane in high school, he actually met her in college.
Peter's love interest in this movie is Gwen Stacy, who was Peter's first true love in the comics. This movie is much more accurate to the comics than what the terrible Tobey trilogy was.

To be honest this version of the film looks hardly different, and whats with the stupid wall running, it looks like a video game. The way Batman was re-interpreted was incredible, adding a dark and more mature element to it. @daiveedino Spider-Man is supposed to use mechanical web-shooters to shoot web! In all of the comics, cartoons, movies and TV series prior to the Sam Raimi trilogy, Peter was not able to shoot web from his skin so he had to create and use mechanical web-shooters to do so. Each web-shooter required a new web-cartridge whenever the web ran out.
The Amazing Spider-Man is a much more accurate Spider-Man movie and therefore we will thankfully see Peter creating and using the web-shooters.

@ArtistWonders As for Mary Jane's whereabouts, she won't be in this movie because it's based on Peter's life in high school. In the comics Peter never knew Mary Jane in high school, he actually met her in college.
Peter's love interest in this movie is Gwen Stacy, who was Peter's first true love in the comics. This movie is much more accurate to the comics than what the terrible Tobey trilogy was.

To be honest this version of the film looks hardly different, and whats with the stupid wall running, it looks like a video game. The way Batman was re-interpreted was incredible, adding a dark and more mature element to it.
