woohoo superb video :-) First i saw that great steamer on TV here in Germany ... that made me searching for that great locomotive on youtube and i found the awesome scene of the train riding in the middle of the highway nearly causing a traffic-jam. I was taking a video from inside the silver splendor at this exact moment. I even caught the white SUV stopped on the side of the freeway and you video taping on the overpass! =)

Time 1:22 look for white SUV that stops for photo ops on the left. That is how you cause an accident and is illegal in my part of the woods and I'm sure it is illegal in CA. Shoulders are for emergency pull off only. You could off had a great video if he was hit from behind or jumping back into the flow.
