Yes the KBYU, KUED and NIRTV TV tapes were turned into kinescope with much difficulty then transfered to digital, also difficult.. And I did check out the Heliocentrics CD because I helped produce it; but the best tracks were omitted and replaced with bad ones. The sequel I have is much better; let me know if you want a copy. I remember K. Ali Khan and Friends when the shows were broadcast back home. If memory serves me right, the show was on Friday nights, very late. My late father yelled at me for staying up late, specially when there was school the next day! This was my first exposure to experimental jazz and was mesmerized by the beauty and profundity of the effort.
