Another nice thing about the CH701 is that stall recovery is very fast, so you can be brave enough to rotate at ridiculously low speeds without trashing your landing gear. This week I took off at 40 mph IAS, for a run of about 40 meters, and could have done it in less.
These planes take off in VERY little distance. Yes, there was a headwind, but not a crazy one. A cessna in a similar situation would need much, much more runway.

Would like to know about wind speed at the time. He goes very fast on downwind leg, so it appears to takeoff in at least 20kt headwind.
Anyway, vary brave pilot!
