What I liked the most about Admiral Chegwidden was yes he was an Admiral in charge and had to be military proper....but....when he got mad he looked like he was going to jump across that desk and whoop someone's ass LOL.
I think it was a brillant episode I haven't actually seen it yet I still need to get the last two seasons but no one does a better job then him and the cast and crew is what holds this show together.

This was a really great personal moment between Commander Rabb, Lt. Col. MacKenzie and Admiral Chegwidden. I think that Commander Rabb and Lt. Col. MacKenzie are the perfect couple and they both have great chemistry with each other as well. They also make a great team as lawyers and military officers. I also think that "JAG", "NCIS" and "NCIS: Los Angeles" are some of the best series of all time and they're all my favorite series as well. Thanks for posting these scenes.
When I watch this I can't help but wonder if Bellisario is a prophet. In AJ's final speech he talks about visiting every major league baseball park culminating in Fenway Park in Boston where historic things are to occur. Of course this was broadcast in the spring of 2004. In that fall historic things like beating the Yankess after being down 3 games to none and then winning the World Series!!
I can't help but get teary-eyed and emotional at 2:58-4:00! Such a moving scene. I loved the Admiral, he was so...lovable. Cresswell was ok, but...he didn't have those "teddy bear" qualities where you just want to hug him. *sighs* I miss JAG.
I wish the producers never had this idea. This was so shit cause I was so angry when I´ve read in a book that women can get this illness in their 40s-50s and not in their 30s. Also I´ve read that there is only one case worldwide a woman got it when she was a Teenager so maybe my medical book is wrong or the producers were wrong when they introduced that part of the story line. Also I hope and please let this somebody read of the NCIS team. Don´t do this with Ziva.

The admiral, played by John Jackson has a son named Coner. He plays left field for the Arizona Diamondbacks. However, I think he is on the disabled list. I am thinking of him and hope everything is going ok for him. He is a fine looking man and a wonderful ballplayer!!!!

I like the Admiral´s look to everybody, too. Harm and Mac are his problem children! I hate this thing about her illness. It was so supid to write this in the storyline. I think it would have been better if they had become a couple since this moment than we hadn´t seen this boring 10th season with so few arguments between them!

to be honest i stopped watching regularly after season 6. it just became a show for the shippers after that and i'm not one to tow the canonical line. ;)
You´re right that it became more a show for shippers but it´s pitty that they ruined the show after season 9. It could have been both. One with great private moments and one with good case moments but they turned it into a soap opera in 10.
That's exactly what I thought when I saw that last episode... It would have been great to get Chegwidden at McMurphy's also, just for a few minutes at the end.
Sad but true. Great show. The episode i hated the most was when they had Harm on trial for Singer's murder. My contempt was not due to nostalgia over Harm's character, but I just absolutely hate NCIS!
im 15 and ive just found out ive got Endometreosis. as much as i love JAG cant say it helped finding out about that 4% chance thing. However must admit it makes me feel better knowing im not the only one.(yes i know shes just a tv character but still)
In Mac's case she was given a less than 5% chance. Not all cases are quite as advanced and give that small odds. You should ask your doctor. I wish you luck!
I cry every darn time I see the Admiral leaving. great episode. and i agree with whoever said this would have been a great series finale if they would have just gotten harm and mac together.
the doctor told her that she has endometreosis, which was causing her back to hurt, and it was an advanced case, so they chances of her conceiving went down to 4%.
I didn't even realize until now that the Admiral was right. October in Boston was amazing. I guess that it didn't take a lot to guess what would happen, after the heartbreak in Boston in '03. Adm. Chedwiggen, Seer! :)
I have to say that this storyline would have been a great series finale... Bud getting promoted, the Admiral Leaving, and of course they could have deleted all the endometriosis stuff and Harm and Mac could have just gotten together or whatever (seriously, they got together pretty fast in the last episode anyways, so we wouldn't have been any worse off). I would have hated to see JAG end this early, but the storyline itself would have been a great one to end on.

I saw an episode w/ Adm. Chegwidden and Webb are in Italy and save a operative. Anyway, I'd forgotten he was a sniper in Viet Nam. So awesome...a really good episode.
The last episode should of been the wedding, a full military one, of mac and harm with everybody including chegwidden being there. I don't no why the rats ass they didnt do that, their was no reason to not.

What I love about this scene is how the Admiral states that he will end his trip in October at Fenway where he hoped "historic things" would happen. That would have been October of '04. I guess you could say some historic things happened.
Funny...Admiral said some comment about ending up in Boston and witnessing history. That would have been the year the Red Sox won the World Series, right?
Oh, I just posted something to that effect. Yes, I was living in Massachusetts at the time and lived through the whole thing. It was only later on that I remembered he had made that comment.
Actually, this was the season 9 finale. JAG went one more season without Chegwidden. Jackson was written out at his request. He decided to leave the show to pursue other interests.
Jackson left after season 9 saying he thoght had taken the character as far as he could. He is now an assistant baseball coach at the high school his son played. JMJ is a true baseball fan. He was the glue that held the show together.
They should make a new series of JAG with SOME of the old cast; Harm, Mac, Bud, Turner, Mike, Tiner ...

Many women who had severe endometriosis manage to be pregnant. It can still happen to Harm and Mac.

the doctor told her that she has endometreosis, which was causing her back to hurt, and it was an advanced case, so they chances of her conceiving went down to 4%.

I didn't even realize until now that the Admiral was right. October in Boston was amazing. I guess that it didn't take a lot to guess what would happen, after the heartbreak in Boston in '03. Adm. Chedwiggen, Seer! :)

I have to say that this storyline would have been a great series finale... Bud getting promoted, the Admiral Leaving, and of course they could have deleted all the endometriosis stuff and Harm and Mac could have just gotten together or whatever (seriously, they got together pretty fast in the last episode anyways, so we wouldn't have been any worse off). I would have hated to see JAG end this early, but the storyline itself would have been a great one to end on.

I saw an episode w/ Adm. Chegwidden and Webb are in Italy and save a operative. Anyway, I'd forgotten he was a sniper in Viet Nam. So awesome...a really good episode.

The last episode should of been the wedding, a full military one, of mac and harm with everybody including chegwidden being there. I don't no why the rats ass they didnt do that, their was no reason to not.

I'm from the Netherlands, I follow every day the series of J.A.G it was and is my favourite program and it will be it forever!
I love this scene, from about 2 minutes, from this moment i started in tears..
I loved this series soooo much and I will thank the hole cast with this way for all amazing episodes.. It was wonderful.. I hope the repeat te series verry much, for my children later and myself:)

What I love about this scene is how the Admiral states that he will end his trip in October at Fenway where he hoped "historic things" would happen. That would have been October of '04. I guess you could say some historic things happened.

Actually, this was the season 9 finale. JAG went one more season without Chegwidden. Jackson was written out at his request. He decided to leave the show to pursue other interests.

Jackson left after season 9 saying he thoght had taken the character as far as he could. He is now an assistant baseball coach at the high school his son played. JMJ is a true baseball fan. He was the glue that held the show together.
