  • you made absolutely no sence bro..

    but thats allright..

    you'll learn.

  • ohh love this song ^.^

this would probably be my second favorite song of verve compare to bittersweet symphony.

  • Check out "Slide Away", too.

The Verve have SO much great stuff.

  • That is Richard with longer hair. OMG he looks so young. What a cutie. I love this song. That is Richard i am serious. That is Richard you can't recognize his voice

    Yasmin

  • Is that Richard cause he looks so young here. It looks like Richard. I love this song. It's a good dance song. He looks about 21 or 22. OMG this is the best song and i love this song

    Roxxi

  • music for my mind

  • the guitar swirl at 4:17 is just pure magic!

  • the verve was a greit band in his year,

  • This song makes me think of a mix between U2 and Brian Jonestown Massacre, all melt and transcending at every single note... Splendid :)

  • You're so right my friend.

  • I don't know how people can listen to great music like this and still think that shite bands like fucking bloc party and the killers are meaningfull

  • the killers first album was great, and perts of Sam's town ere ok too, but that new song Human? and what about bones and for reasons unknown???

  • rishard is so pretty :( :(

  • Btw, Snakeskin was recorded in 1992 at the same period as She's A Superstar.

  • lucky you :)

i got to see spiritualized tho

  • thankx

  • Thier music is so spacey, and trippy, yet melodic at the same time

  • This is one verve song i actually dont like. It seems really boring. Theres barely any music, and the vocals just sound like dreary, dreary, dreary mumblings. Not my cup O' tea.

  • justin7560 - listen to it a few more times with the volume up high and tell me if you feel the same.

  • lol tell me you're kidding?

  • i am of course joking lol

  • My god. Best Verve song by a mile, perhaps even THE best song ever written. I couldn't believe it when they reformed again. Listening to it tho i wish they hadn't bothered. They will never write anything anywhere as good again. Verve RIP. xx

  • not as good as 'Gravity grave' or 'history' but still a modern classic.

  • yes just listen a few times its amazing, the verve can do no wrong in my eyes...the have magic and no one can touch them.....Richard is sooooooooooooooo amazing ,his songwriting touches everyone, , he writes about life ,that everyone can relate to. I love you guys rock on Verve xoxoxoxoxo Shaztie

  • THE NEW ALBUM WILL SUPRISE YOU......Love is noise is different on the album...mc cabe's guitar is all over the album. Beautiful it is!

  • Bitter Sweet Symphony up there with Dishwalla? Fuck off.

She's A Superstar is fantastic. But so is their later stuff.

  • love is noise is the most poppy moment on forth. from the reviews it seems nick mccabe 's

been allowed to indulge in his dreamy psychedelic wig outs on the guitar, sit and wonder sounds fantastic.another track i think its called columbia is said to sound like she's a superstar lets hope so.

  • the new album is incredible.......makes me forget of urban hyms...nick is back with the wash of guitar we missed..ebbeing and flowing...columbo is a ace track....numbness...great one too.....you will be SO suprised

  • The Verve are mindblowing at moody rock music...check out 'Twilight' from No Come Down album...sometimes I'm looking at the heavens with a tear in my eye whilst listening to them. Just a top band. I'm sure the new album will be superb.

  • if you haven't seen the vid of their Glasto performance of Love Is Noise, it certainly hearkens back to this kind of Verve-layered guitar, etc. At least that's what I was thinking when I saw it earlier tonight-compplete with long fuzzy ending. there still is a version on this site you can see

  • I think you'll be pleasantly surprised when you hear the new album!

  • class

  • best song ever with history.

  • i discovered the verve with urban hymns and later on a northern soul but to me a storm in heaven era is the verve at the peak of their powers.this song is magnificent its like a beautiful hazy dream when i hear it i see electric storms, the grand canyon, rising suns/setting suns, the stars, blue skys, stormy clouds, swelling oceans,space...it just takes me somewhere else its hard to describe how a song can make me feel this way. psychedelic, poetic, mindblowing

  • i wished Ashcroft'd feel the way you do

  • kinda became my love song and drug anthem at the same time :d

  • AMAZING song.. early verve were the best.. fuckin love it

  • one of the best verve songs ever made. true fucking genious.

  • coolio

  • there AINT NO BETTER DOPE THAN the VERVE!!!!

  • i managed to cover the bass to this song well i tried.

  • their music is like a drug, so amazing i can be ill, or almost die but listening to them nothing cares

  • this song is so beautiful its like a hazy dream captured in sound.listen to it on a beach watching the sun go down.bliss.i've heard the verves new album due this may harks back to a storm in heaven, lets hope so.

  • one of the best songs in century..

  • Nick Mcabe was so far ahead of everyone back then. Kids that were introduced to (the)Verve w/B.S.S. just don't get it. That album is the soundtrack of a dying band that lost their way. A diluted/mainstream version of one of the best bands on the planet. BTW Verve=apples Oasis=oranges

  • word!

  • So true!

  • the song is "flawed"? fucking fascist twat, don't you dare say what music is *supposed* to be like.

  • You're not bright.

  • Oh so you are as unintelligent as I thought. Figures that you're drawn to the most watered down of an artists work.

  • Whatever the hell that meant.

  • I suppose the only valid music is that which is played to death on the radio?

Early Verve is up there with Pink Floyd. Bittersweet Symphony is up there with... um, Dishwalla. Haha.

  • Used to play this song on my college radio show in the early 90's and knew they would get big when the janitor came in and had to know who I was playing.

  • early verve is some of the best space/dream music you can hear

    tasty

  • wow

  • This is such a beautifully sad song. Wonderful :-)

  • This is my favorite song from the verve, what a great song.

  • Wow..this song is sooo GREAT!!

  • psychadelic..idk how 2 spell it..but thats what the was 4 sure..early verve = amazing

  • Verve at their best!
