150 HP thats crazy, and does it need extra work on the engine or on that akrapovic exhaust to get them flames out of it? and is yoshimura is bad or good for R1 like sound and performance reply thx.

I don't think it does, a free flow exhaust by itself will give the bike a chance to flame, at those high rpm when u snap closed the throttle alot of unburnt fuel dumps down the exhaust at when it meets fresh air at the end of the exhaust you get a nice flame :) I'v had it with a cbr600rr and a cbr900rr and my friends 04 R1 spits em aswell. so i'd say just a nice exhaust and some high rpm riding will see flames.. u wont see em since ur on the bike tho :)

i rode one of these bastards in thailand when i went over. the only problem i have is that they get way too hot .

the temp went to 248 !!!!!!!!

i did have someone on the back . but even when not on the back it got to 220 no prob.

it was over 95 f prob like 100 or so and it was not in an open area. had to stop a lot .

got sketched cause you can see how long the red light will be . 100 sec too long .lol
