I LOVE this movie. I saw it when it first came out on cable years back. I don't understand why it's never on cable anymore. What a waste. This movie is destined to be a cult classic. So oddly entertaining and so many cinematic genius moments that few will be privy to. THANKS so much for posting this movie. I have literally waited for YEARS to see this.

if they had made Lydia slightly more likable in this movie (clueless and vain, yet essentially sweet, like in real P&P), the whole chase would have made much more sense. also, real Lizzie loves real Lydia cuz it's her sister. here, it's her self-absorbed so-called "friend" who's not nice to any of them.

why would they try so hard to stop the wedding? seems to me this Lydia and Jack deserves each other
