The dingoo is much worse than the WIZ in case of:

Ergonomics, CPU Power, SD compatibility, Emulators, Community, display and build quality...

The only reason you buy a dingoo is,that it is cheaper (or for collector purposes).

Someone who has a Dingoo already should make a psx4all test on that so we'll know if it works correctly or not because I DO plan to put PS games on my device when I get it.

The Dingoo has a weaker CPU and less RAM than the wiz :/ so it will look worse probably

Wipeout on PSX4all Wiz is now just about playable. Only a couple months after the official release.

Given the Wiz is smaller than the PSPgo, has removable battery and doesn't need hacking, I might go for the Wiz.

Because you said 533 ghz, which first of all isn't even possible in a desktop, let alone a handheld device. Second, the processor has jack fucking shit do with the graphics. Third, even if this thing had a fucking GTX 999 in it, the games would still look like shit because thats the way they were fucking written.

it still doesn't use the 3d chip of the wiz, what a shame.. with hardware 3d and some optimization it can run fullspeed with no problems, since the Wiz hardware is more powerful than the psp one

The PSP isn't really emulating a PS1 at all. Both the PS1 and the PSP uses the same basic MIPS instruction set.

When you "emulate" a PS1 on a PSP it's like "emulating" a P5 running at 200 MHz with an Atom running at 1.2 Ghz.

The GP2X is an ARM based processor, when it emulates, it's actually translating the instruction set. It's certainly possible to do the emulation, but it requires optimization to do it at full speed.

Remember: this is an unoptimized emulator. When its fully optimized, it will run almost fullspeed. Ofcourse, you would need an MMU hack and some overclocking to get there.

I'm pretty sure that ps1 can be as good as snes is on the gp2x f200, which is mostly full speed for most games and 20-30fps for the rest. I don't think it's going to reach the state of picodrive. The main reason is that nobody is going to write the emulator from scratch to run on the wiz. If someone wrote it from scratch designed for the wiz it would probably be as good as picodrive.
