I am an American Status Quo fan, one of the very few. In 1975, 'Down Down' was getting some radio play in Detroit. As a result, the band stopped by at least 3 times between Summer 1975 and Spring 1976 (Michigan Palace and Ford Auditorium)..for some reason..they never played this song..there only semi-hit and went the way of Pablo Cruz...never to be heard from again..pity..but they never really gave their all. I think they ROCK!

Saw Status Quo open up for Slade who opened up for Black Sabbath waaaaaay back in 75? 76? They had the whole billing ass-backwards.Sabbath was just plain horrible that night.I can remember leaving that show impressed by Slade and being REALLY impressed by Status Quo.

Seeing them in Dec 09 for the 33rd time, what can i say, rarely let down, maybe the odd one which was not up to there usual level, but hey, how many bands can tour year in and year out for 40 years and still sell out tours? Nothing quite like thousands of smiling faces pouring out of a quo gig and a trail of sweat!! Keep it up lads, top stuff!!!!
