  • I got a corn :D

  • @xNertz 15$ for a normal but if you want some ones like scaleless corn snakes can cost you up to 500$ :)!!

  • @WweHHHEdge your dumb its not illegal to feed snakes live food actually live food has more protein in them than frozen thawed learn you facts before saying stupid stuff 1 con is the mouse can bite the snake but rarely has the chance more protein = more healthy snake:)

  • Should i get my corn snake from a breeder or a pet store?

  • @Zilphon pet stores may sell you wild caught snakes, which may come with parsites and other kinds of health issues. on the other side, most pet stores get their snakes from breeders. Honestly, with a snake as simple and cheap as a corn snake, it makes no real difference.

  • my baby kenyon sand boa wont eat what can i do to get him to eat and what all can i feed a baby sand boa

  • @tarantulakid1 no it is illegal the feed them live food. Just get frozen ones- I do and my snake is as healthy as any other.

  • @WweHHHEdge no its not illegal

  • Woo Woop!

  • yo i got my new baby corn snake amel look at the videos and there more comeing

  • How much would a small corn snake cost?#

  • can you feed corn snake a live baby mice

    ?

  • @tarantulakid1 Yes, but when it gets older you might not want to give it live prey as it might hurt your snake OR your snake may try to strike at you because it will think you are food...

  • you are so rough with him

  • ur not supposed to hang a snake like that monkey man they dint like it and the snake strugled after u did that

  • does it hurt when they bite? and can you get any infection of it?

  • @ouchh100 no i have a corn it does not hurt and you can not get an infection from any morphs of corns

  • Whooooap

  • how much do they cost

  • @dcashgetdmoney $40 - $80

  • @TheAwkwardBanana ok thanks might get it then yeaa so happy

  • @wiibot15 yes, because you should be deeply offended by someone on YouTube.

  • @Dragongirl8801 Learn now. i worry about the well being of your animal.

  • @cutekillerofwow ok thanks :)

  • Your videos are so informative, thanks! I'm starting with a corn snake and maybe pick up a milk snake too while I'm at the local reptile show, but I'd like to in a couple of years own a large snake too (once I have the house room so after I move out of the apartment). I'm trying to decide between a high yellow tree python or a Brazilian Rainbow Boa. From what I've been reading GTP are best as display animals only and to be owned only be an experienced herper. Which would you suggest 1st and why?

  • @Cercumference0 He's not holding it wrong, it's fine. And they're not delicate so if he is dropped, he's fine. You only feed your snake once or twice a week. I hope you don't have a snake.

  • HES FINALLY WEARIN A DIFFERENT SHIRT YAA!!!!

  • MONE IS THE SAME COLOR!!! LOL

  • i have a corn snake. he is about 6-7 months old and bit me 2 times already

  • @Dragongirl8801 did u wash ur hands before going near ur snake?

  • @Arc8609 yes of course

  • @Dragongirl8801 you're probably handling it wrong.

  • funny he said im guna win cuz i got more teeth and claws

  • i found a garter snake it did not want to eat so i let it go but now im buying a corn snake cuz i fell in love with snakes >:]

  • haha oh hagrid, you and your exotic pets..

  • i'm looking at getting my first snake ever within the next week or so. i've heard corn snakes are great for beginners. since there are no breeders or reptile stores anywhere near where i live, i will have to buy from Petsmart. i don't want to order a snake off the internet.

  • round 2 grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Poor snake ;(

  • I'm getting a baby corn on weds, can't wait!

  • @Englishrockchick you'll have to make a video :P

just make sure you dont listen to anything expert village says

and good luck with ur new corn :]

  • @darraghLOLkeogh Why would you NOT listen to the mans advice? To have left a comment, you obviously watched the video yourself. I have an Albino Corn and this man is not ALWAYS wrong, NOR is he always right. The best way to raise a corn or any snake for that matter, get ALOT of different advice. Try a little of everything, including your OWN ideas and see what works best. Each snake is different, I.E. so is their "personallity", which they do have. So I wouldnt say DONT listen to expert village.

  • Hey everyone, Please join my forum: snake . nstars . org/. It's a place to talk about everything involving snakes!!

  • the type is a normal corn snake and the one u are holding is a girl

  • @MajorLear wrong! the snake he is holding is a male the tail tapers over a longer scale length(between 10-12 scales after the vent) a female will taper over a much shorter length (4-7 scales) and the difference is noticable even in hatchlings and " a normal " corn snake is a carolina corn morph do u happen to know anything or are you just trying to act smart? and dont try to correct me im into breeding so i know what im talking about

  • I love how expert village doesn't respond to comments.

  • love all your videos

  • love your videos

  • Yea he knows what he is talking about but corns are a south eastern species not northeastern and he is overfeeding a little

  • @Roman52090

I live in the North. North East PA and Also Upstate N.Y. Garter snakes are plentiful in these areas. If I go out walking in woods, I would find Corn snakes, Rat snakes, garter, Milk and Bull nose snakes if looking for them.

I have one Corn as a Pet. It was born in Captivity, my friend snakes had babies. Corn usually live 8 to 10 years. My is currently almost 16 years old. He is 61 inches. He eats small rats. I agree he is over feeding the baby with 3 pinkies a week.

  • this guy should make his own videos on snakes, expert village sucks.

  • Comment removed

  • Ya. He does have awesome teeth and claws.

  • can you please msg me asap i recently bought a corn snake an part of his tail is missin will he survive or not?

  • Question to you. :o

On a scale of one to ten how bad does a corn snake hurt.?(:

  • @odalyzz123

Depends upon the size. Mine is full grown, approximately 5 feet. If he bites(would be my fault) I would say a 1. It feels like a very small needle pricking you. Or a pinch like taking your sugar levels if you are a Diabetic, with one of those little machines you see advertised on TV.

  • Hhahahahah you chat soo much shit at the end looooooooooool. If this snake declares war we all know that he will give you a chance now but once he grows he coming back for ur ass as an avenger

  • he looks like matt hardy wow!!

  • 1:44. Woop woop, :)

  • i hate that old lady because shes stupid but this guy knows what hes saying

  • You can see that the sudden change in ah woop woop

  • Would there be any effect on it if you droped it?

  • @Liltrevon My snake Fithi slithered out of my hands and hit the floor but he didn't seem bothered at all.

  • cute snake thats the colour and size i want o get but i dont no where from my local pet shop are mostly adults! any i deas any 1

  • @xpaintball4life123x They should be able to order one in for u.

  • @xpaintball4life123x

Look on the internet for a reptile show in your area. Most of the people selling snakes are breeders and know a lot about snakes. You can buy at a pet store who sells a lot of reptiles. Never buy from big chain Pet Stores, such as Pet-co,etc.

  • @Gliss47

Sorry, I meant to reply to xpaintball4life123x.

    My apologies

  • cute snake thats the colour and size i want o get but i dont no where from my local pet shop are mostly adults

  • Holy shit! He changed his shirt!

  • dood, would you chill out if I'm messin with your vent?

  • me too

  • My snake i got the other day is far less flightly than the one in this vid, feeds readily (two feedings in the first week of having her!), and doesn't attack ever o.O; She's very calm for a snake... she's a pewter morph, but I don't know what temperamental changes are between morphs... All I know is she is far calmer and tamer than I was expecting, definitely a great choice for a pet!

  • Hey can someone help me? i want a pet snake and dont know what to get. I want a small, non venoumous, and friendly snake. And hopefully will live in a 10 gallon tank fine. Thanks guys

  • @douhnutz there aren't a lot that will live in a small (10-gal) tank, hognoses being one of the smaller snakes that WILL be comfy in a 10-gal. If you want a corn or milk snake, then you'll need at least a 20-gal long. Hognoses are 2 - 3 ft long as adults, practically never bite (they headbutt instead ;) ), and are simply adorable.

Read up more on your own to figure out which is best for you, but those are what i'd suggest for small/friendly. :)

  • @Draconium666 i was thinking about getting a 25g when it grows over 1.5ft

  • @douhnutz if you're going to get a larger tank anyway, then you can just use that to start. you just have to let him or her get used to the tank before you hold it too much, and having a few hides helps a lot. I'm using a 20-gal long that should be good for an adult corn -- you just need to give it lots of exercise outside of the cage :) 25 gal is more than adequate, as long as it's a longish tank and not a vertical one for other reptiles.

  • at what age would a corn snake be ready for its adult size vivarium?

  • @kaleluk31 I've got my snake in her final size tank -- as long as you provide enough hide spots it's fine to put them in a full 20 gallon long tank as a baby.

  • @Draconium666 well i hear they get from 4 to 5 ft long, i have a 4ft long wooden vivarium waiting for my corn to get big enough, at the moment it is almost 2ft long and about 7 months old.

  • @kaleluk31 i used to have a wooden tank 8D now i use a glass one... it was what was available i guess! corns can get from 4 - 6 feet, averaging 5ft. you can move him/her whenever you like... To help with the transition, try to put things in a similar orientation, and give the snake a day or two maybe three to get used to the larger space. like i said before, my baby corn is in a 20gal long which is 3 ft long, so it's really more about giving the snake time to adjust with any size tank.

  • This my favorite 'expert' but he does drop things a lot.

  • whoop. fucking funny!

  • IF I FIND a corn snake in the wild will it still be that tame and nice (in my state you can keep snakes like that you find)

  • @zachlovesrae it will not be calm but if you hadle it all the time it will

  • can you tell me are they nocturnle

  • this vid gets me horny do you think if i get a baby corn snake it will be small enough to crawl up my ass??????

  • @cheska199415 WTF

  • @cheska199415 lol

  • how much do they grow??

  • @chica7372 They can grow from 3-5 feet, sometimes 6 feet.

  • This guys a dunce.

  • That was a good note to end on: ...I have lots of teeth and claws.

    RAWR!

  • @pnkrk1039 yeah cuz hes chubaka

  • How big can a corn snake grow up to?

  • @alfonso96706 5 feet (: , im getting a corn snake , but in green , and the woman at the shop told me they can grow up to 5 feet long, so you can start out with a smaller tank but make sure when its growing you upgrade :)

  • my albino baby corn snake always bites when i get close to him so I havent been able to pick it up yet? what do I do?

  • @MrFlashMagnet1

Hey! Is your snake taking up the defensive coiled up position? If so, find a small stick and 'unwrap' him by pulling him out of the coil. Then, when possible approach from behind and pick him up by the centre of his body. Also, to avoid the whole biting thing.... You may want to feed him in a separate container so he does not associate your hand with food. Hope this helps :-)

  • @MrFlashMagnet1 mine does the same thing. i just got bit by him the first time today, but it doesn't hurt at all, and he was really trying hard to get me good too. only left little scratchy marks. but just pick him up anyway and don't be scared, cause you can hurt him. once he figures out you're not going to eat him, he'll calm down, and eventually get used to you holding him.

  • @jeremalaria by the way, mine's a snow morph... maybe it's the inbreeding that makes them more aggressive?

  • Is this the guy that got bitten by a cobra?

  • .youtube.com/watch?v=ajBa5KLlkJw

  • how do you tell if it is hungry

  • YUUU YUUU!! 1:45

  • he kinda looks like wolverines brother. in a good way. he looks like he has lots of teeth and claws.

  • So ur saying ur going to bite back?

  • @deathadder171 uh no of course he wouldnt do that silly.....ok ok jk but he wouldnt ..
