@mountaindewdude76 yes, ebay search for Keychain Cam. its possibly 7$ to 15$. put a 2GB SD Card inside. its really light weight and can shoot for 2 hours video easily. videos are very clear.

@scottieh83 yes you can :) for 30km you will have no worries of loosing control. I do not use Auto pilot for the fear that I will loose control. i never lost control using Chainlink for 10 or more km, but I did loose video feed some time and thats where autopilot come handy. cuz it can fly plane back to video feed range

Ha nice I flew my skywalker in 10mph wind away from me and kept low throttle at the same 20k feet away, but coming back had to punch it to fight the wind and got it back. Have you tried to put a extra battery up front for more range? Maybe take that 1800 mah video battery out and put 2x 4cells lipo in there and run them parallel to power everything in the plane? Would be cool man. :) But might be too heavy not sure....

Hey alli ,do you not recommend mounting the camera in the spot on the top of the fuselage where the directions say to mount the panning servo? I see you mount your camera in the cockpit.. Any pros cons to that spot on top? Or ignore directions?

@sundown798 well its all upto your taste about Mounting camera on plane. if you feel comfortable on top of the wing, you go with it, I always feel better with the camera in cockpit as I can do better landings knowing the height of camera from ground. again its all up to you, what angle and what spot to mount camera that makes you fly comfortably. I always like cockpit and a bit of nose view in my camera.

@maahinberi flew today, coming soon. got the high speed train from GoPro view in the air, but damn that trains high voltage disabled everything on my plane. as soon as train got closer to plane, video was gone, Control was gone, Lucky me, Plane had FY21AP and it started flying back :) when train was gone, i got video and controls back. Damn I was flying at 700 feet alt still it was like EMP to my Skywalker hehehe. But got sweet video. coming soon

@muni86 I was too busy after first flight and was on business trips. plus raining is not giving us window. now a bit better weather. next video i will describe my location, flight area and show on goggle earth my planned flight path and post a video both ground commentary and Go Pro Aerial video. Re Center on this CL is just great. Resolution no idea how much but servos work just smooth and you won't feel any different using CL or Futaba Rx response

I learned right at the start that for long-range FPV missions it's much better to fly into the wind on the way out and with a tail-wind on the way back. It just gives you a little extra insurance in case the wind strength increases.

Top stuff Ali..... I'm using the turnigy nano tech 6000mh 3s bats... good flight times cruising very close to 1hour loaded up with gear... Anyhoo great to see the that go pro on there... Try modding the walker to take the gopro as the recording and visual live feed... haven't weighed it but it might save weight

@xgrazantx If it loses signal the autopilot detects this and automatically returns the plane to "home". If the battery runs too low though it's game over....everything stops working.

@catamaranman333 total flying weight was 1.9kg with everything. Botoo is 1.3G, 4S is better as you have more power in hands so you have to use less throttle to cruise, like 30% throttle or sometimes even 25% can give you good cruising. i was draining only 4amp at one time. i am gonna use two of these 4S 5000mAh next time to see how far we can go. hope we do not crash plane due to weight hehehe

Yes when I turned to come home 6 km away, i found that wind is against me and plane need more power to fly back and when I increase power i saw volts going dangerously low lol and there was no where I could see my airport lol
