Call me nostalgic, but I wish more websites would use "2001 design". Modern sites (like YouTube, haha!) try to hard to look cool and just wind up being annoying and cluttered and rely too heavily on Flash and Javascript to deliver content which could just as easily be handled by basic HTML. It's a waste of bandwidth and makes your browser chug if you're on a slower computer. Simple, orderly design without annoying Flash bullshit (unless it's actually needed) is the way to go.

And no, I don't feel like browsing the web at 1920 resolution. Wwho the fuck wants to have to zoom every site in order to read the microscopic text with a bright white background?
