GSXR 600 is 355 lbs to 125HP (about 101 to the wheel) with a 150lb rider thats 4.04 lbs per 1 HP. The 2003 Cobra is ~3670lbs to 585HP (claimed) with the same 150lb driver Thats 6.52 lbs per 1HP. Big difference. the bike should be faster, but he Cobra puts down the power quicker due to a supercharger. BLUF (bottom line up front)...there arent many cars out there that can beat a 600cc sport bike. Just my $.02. Great vid guys, looks like you didnt do it in traffic either, good on you.

The bike gets a good jump but is reeled in up top because the car is more aerodynamic. There are plenty of cars that will pull 600s. Of course the newer the bike the harder due to power increases every year.

@Riggerwings Thats all great, but power to weight isn't everything. First off, you left out the gearing. Gearing has alot to do with it. The car is geared higher than the bike. Next. The Mustang does not put the power down faster than the bike because of the supercharger. Nothing is more responsive than natural aspirated. The bike jumps out quicker due to it being lighter and geared lower, as you notice, the car will "reel" it in due to its gearing and sheer power.

GSXR600 hits 140mph (varies depending on your source...) at the end of 4th.. they were definitely over 70mph... It doesnt look fast when you look ahead far, but when you look around its quite fast :)

@robby639 Actually the clutches on motorcycles ARE made for the purpose of not using it on shifting up on gears, it is possible to shift down also without the clutch with practice but using the clutch on down shifts is a better habit plus more fun =) but a car clutch and a motorcycle clutch is a lot more different then you think.
