  • One of their best songs. Also pretty heavy, it´s almost metal sometimes, even nowadays.

  • Wow! The lyrics are something else.

  • The main intention is: DON'T MESS WITH QUEEN! ;)

  • great song queen!

  • best riff ever

  • They thought that "A night at the Opera" would have only "Bohemian Rhapsody". NO ! We have to put all songs of this album in the dictionnary of Rock !

  • This song was great about how their previous managers ripped them off and kept most the earnings for themselves yet the band were skint at the time, good way to let them know you are not happy , make a song about it :)

  • @heythanksbutnothanks One manager in particular, Norman Sheffield. He tried to sue them after the song came out but he lost as he couldn't prove it was about him. That's why the dedication is to "A real motherfucker of a gentleman". They couldn't say his name.

  • @CRBjeep I didn't actually know what the "dedication to.." was as it just says..."dedication to..." I had no idea what that was, I should have realized it wasn't a nice dedication under the circumstances :), but they should have been allowed to say his name, he ripped them off. But cheers for the details.

  • best video on youtube

  • i love the dark intro its so eerie

  • @69heyitsme Something is disturbing you.. I think your brain.. remove it.. Anyway you will feel no difference after!

  • god that sounds like Obama jest look at the last 3 years and jest sounds like Freddie was a profit

  • @69heyitsme Phew. Thanks man....for a second I thought that all the mentally retarded ppl from this planet are gone. Thx for proving me wrong. Now shut the fuck up and go eat soup with a fork retard

  • hmm..guess this about shallow.

  • I think Freddie held back a little on the lyrics... he shoulda been more damning! lol

  • Im still trying to figure out if Queen were "controlled". I know that Eminem is

  • There's someone I want to sing this to... But I can't sing so I'll just not do it...

  • Greatest intro to a song; it's a little metal yet classy, spooky yet beautiful :)

  • it is great to see that 0 People like death on three legs! Continue to like death on two legs... this song is my childhood ( and a recorder HITACHI :)) Cheers

  • My favourite song from a Night at the Opera. This one and the Prophets Song.

  • @IanFleming1000 : try to let the player run after the first track haha , so death on 2 legs and prophet song were openig tracks of both faces. The whole album sounds good except sweet lady maybe..

  • How did you rip this from the Queen: ANATO 30CE DVD?

  • Freddie Mercury foresaw Justin Bieber, so he wrote this song about him.

  • @avielsick I agree wiv u there, but it was also 4 Rebecca Black ;)

  • Great editing - good lip sync!

  • great song. he must real hate someone. that is funny.

  • Queen, you can't even put them in the same sentence with anyone, they are the one and only and the world will never see anyone like them again,

  • (dedicated to....insert name here.........

  • @drumgold23 The song is dedicated to Norman Shefield, their manager.

  • @Canteiros1 I know but it's a great song to apply to anyone in your life that you feel this way about, ex-business partners, bosses, ex-wives....Classic.

  • at least you can understand the words that are being sung. today's RAP CRAP is the most unintelligent bunch of violent, woman bashing crap there is. All it talks about is disrespecting women, killing cops and drugs. what a bunch of low life NO LIFES!

  • i never knew there was a music video...

  • wow ! that sounds a bit heavier than the original version that appears in the night of the opera album, Welldone !

  • @manenir It's from the surroundsound mix released on the DVD-Audio disk a while back - it's just downmixed to normal stereo.

    Sounds alot better though :-)

  • wow whoever made this video worked there ass off!

  • This man made me want to start piano lessons. One day I will be able to play this song. thank you freddie, i love you<3

  • See there's no cursing needed - all nowadays artists think they need - to get a point very clear across. No parental advisory needed :P

  • @Carti1983 Well, there IS that "now you can kiss my ass goodbye" line, but the fact that there is no cursing anywhere else in the song makes that line much more powerful than if he had trown it between two "fuck you" or "asshole".

  • Very well put together video - respect to the editor!

  • I got this song on my i pod most songs are queen actually

  • freddie was soooo cute and sexy... i miss you, freddie...

  • WTF with the word "suicide" ?

Uncunsored this please, it's smell like a "white" in the song".

This song rocks as Queen !

  • @Jokerigolo what the hell are u talking about fool

  • Queen will never be duplicated , but often imitated!

  • freddie-on of the sexiest man of the world, and absolutely the best singer ever;)

  • @Themercurytina

    HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • don t be jealous ;)

  • @Themercurytina

i actually never commented.. :/ someone has my info i see.. but he is a great singer! XD

  • amazing song.

  • Absolutely fantastic, even if they were really angry

  • dedicated to all my x's heh heh lmao

  • Kickass lyrics. Makes Eminem's look like grade school poetry.

  • @AAjupiter hahahaha soooo true !!!!!

  • @AAjupiter I love Queen. . .But to say that these lyrics make Eminem's look like grade school poetry. .You're retarded. You've obviously never listened to many of his songs. .Why do you think it's kool to diss Eminem to bring up Queen? Grade school poetry. .pfft definitely not any kind of poetry that you could do. Damn to simplify it to grade school when I guarantee you couldn't do any better. .That's saying you're below a grade school level. . .Like I said I love Queen, but I love Eminem too.

  • @AAjupiter it's not? =p

  • @AAjupiter They do anyway

  • @AAjupiter Just because Eminem's a modern musician it doesn't mean he's bad...

  • @damonkeyman889944 True. Queen is fucking fab, and so are most other well-known musicians from that time era, but by ignoring all of the modern musicians because of biased opinions against them, some people claim that all modern artists, including Eminem, are horrible AutoTuned stoner freaks. (Eminem doesn't even use autotune, except for Rihanna's vocals in Love The Way You Lie!) So yea. Older music is great, but give SOME newer music a chance. By ignoring it, you're missing out on a lot.

  • @AAjupiter Not to mention, these guys can actually play their asses off...while they had a real understanding of campiness, they were all top-notch musicians. I always see people like Jimmie Page and Gilmour from the time as being so good, but Brian May has to be one of the most underrated guitar-god's of the entire era...and Mercury's voice, well...he's God incarnate in terms of his voice, one of the best in rock music in the last 40 years...up there with Lisa Gerrard, Annie Haslam etc...

  • @AAjupiter soooooooooooooooooooooo true!!

  • I LOVE the suits!

  • Havent heard this before, but i really enjoyed listening. Thanks for sharing.

  • Impressive video to an all time classic queen song.

  • kill joy, bad guy big talking small fry. omg powerfull!

  • I forgot what a great song that is, haven't heard it in years

  • This song proves how awesome Queen is, not like that needed to be said.

  • This is one of the most underrated songs I've ever heard with a well composed video.

  • Wicked editing!!

  • great song.... Queen is the best group ever.

    Thankyou.

  • Great song, havent heard it for a long time Thanks for posting......

  • The piano in the intro is freaking INSANE... how Freddie was able to pull it off live astounds me haha... great song, surprisingly bitter for Queen.

  • It was a class perfomance by the boys giving this one a live outing... but wouldn't you be bitter if you worked your arse off , for someone just to come in and steal all the rewards leaving you practically penniless? Im God damn sure I would!!

  • so now you can kiss my ass goodbye!

  • :D Yes, Maggy!

  • what?

  • My EX GF is a girl named Maggy.

"so now you can kiss my ass goodbye!"

  • oh.. do i even dare to ask what she did XD

  • I like this song very much. But why so nasty lyrics ? However this song has best parts of rock music.

  • well, it's about their manager, appearantly, freddie didn't like him ´.

  • This just might be the greatest "SCREW YOU!" song ever. A great song in all ways, though!

  • wow the quality rocks! Im wondering why the queen production team does not put this materials in a good shape and release it as a DVD? cos otherwise they will go to waste(original tapes)...

  • theres footage of japan 1979!!!!!!!!!!

  • it´s a houston 77 and earls court 77 footage!

  • I like the video cuts done here--quality work! this is a really good piece

  • ROCK 'N ROLL at its pinnacle,with a Helicopter thrown in.........Awesome,Legendary stuff.!

  • I own the DVD 'The making of a Night at the Opera' and it said that this was dedicated to John Reid, but it also said "The people that were in Business with him" so Norman Sheffield could have been one of those other business people?

Anyway a brilliant song with a great rift =D

  • Lol, I know a guy who is a drummer and really looks like this early Roger :D

Death on Two Legs - awesome song.

  • I actually read that it was dedicated to John Reid who was also Elton Johns manager, Queen signed with him, but he was only interested in them for the money, hence Freddie writing one of the best Queen songs ever.

  • No it was dedicated to Norman Sheffield because on the making of bohemian rhapsody Norman was talking about it, he said freddie was selfish and needy and stuff like that, jerk sounds like norman was the selfish one. Frddie was wonderful:)

  • freddie didn't say it was dedicated to sheffield, but simply said it was dedicated to a "real motha-fu*ker" of a gentleman"

  • that was the same day he sed i lost my shoe!

    haha funny song

  • oh yeah hahaha your right!

  • Didn't know there was a manager connected with this song. I played this real loud when I quit a job I'd been at for 20 years because my boss was such a p**** I couldn't stand him anymore. Freddie Mercury was the best.

  • the manager is jack nelson.!

  • Good video!

One of the best songs I've ever heard...

  • Cheers Norman, if you ever see this and for all those drinks you poured me at Christies in the 80's

  • I love Queen, I Love this song, and Norman Sheffield is really a very nice guy.

  • suicide (i think you should)

  • do you feel like

  • the queen drumer roger he is so good on the drums (the best)

  • I love this song because is a Queen's song... :)

  • dedicaced to my mom without job because is boss is bad with her...

  • great video

  • Freddie looks beautiful.

  • I dedicate this song to my mom

  • i love this song i like it when they "now you kiss my ass good-bye"

  • this is my fav song by QUEEN

  • great sound quality!

  • your talents are on a level that my 44 year old brain cant understand... bravo bravo!! To the youth that love Queen.. I dont know what to say!! I have studied film... and this is some of greatest editing I have ever seen! Its almost scary!!

  • Completely agree with Mercury91. I never studied film, but anyone can see how well done this is.

  • Queen was best in the 70´s!!! Sure they had some great hits in the 80´s as well but come on people...
