  • RAP & BLUES ARE NOT THE DEVIL'S MUSIC!!!!!!!!!

THERE ARE HEAPS OF PEOPLE GIFTED IN THOSE AREAS & THE LORD WANTS THEM TO USE THEIR GIFTS (ALL) FOR HIS GLORY !!!!! THAT'S WHY HE GAVE THEM THOSE GIFTS!!! GODBLESS

  • O.K. Tom, a blues scale is just flatting the 2nd note, 4th note and 7th correct?

  • @JamKar1 A minor blues scale in any key is 1, flat 3, 4, sharp 4, 5, flat 7, 1. So in F, in which the scale is F, G, A, Bb, C, D, E, F you have F (1), Ab (b3), Bb (4) B (sharp 4), C (5), Eb (b7), F (1). Hope that helps! You can apply that to any scale on the piano.

P.S. Sharp 4 can also be enharmonically expressed as flat 5. That is: sharp 4th (augmented 4th for the theory nuts) is the same as a flat 5th (diminished 5th).

  • Hey DICK! Blues? Devil's music? Tell that to the black people you enslaved for hundreds of years you White piece of trash.. You wouldn't blame them for creating such music to express themselves while your white asses torture them...

  • @Dumbasssmartmouth if they didn't like being enslaved they should have said something.

  • wow really good!

have a look at my videos people

    thanks xx

    (im new to youtube)

  • Nice, I like playing blues scales on my Farfisa (which coincidentally used to belong to a Haitian church in Miami).

  • very good!

    God Bless!

  • LoL a B natural? Is there anything unatural in there?

  • If you had read your music theory, you would know that natural means that the note is neither sharped nor flatted. In the F-Major scale he was playing, the B would normally be a B-flat, but the blues scale has the B-flat followed by a B natural.

  • i'd call it a B neutral, since it's in between flat and sharp, but hey, thanx

  • its called b natural, not neutral, or it has at college level and beyond..

  • It's also a C flat, hahaha

  • natural is actually a music term used to indicate that that note is neither sharp nor flat

basically a white key on the keyboard

  • f u

  • This synth has my cousin Franz

  • not all the expert village videos suck, this is a good one, thx!!!

  • isn't blues the devil's music?

  • thats only what the old folk say. if you want devil music listen to some of that sreamo emo crap lol i like rock but i had sreamo or whatever you call it

  • "screamo" is not a genre. i assume you are refering to hardcore music. also, why would you call it devil music? that's a very ignorant comment to make. you don't know what kind of music the devil listens to.. lmao

  • actually, gospel music is from the blues. So, I would say NO.

  • dude... every genre of music came from the blues and the blues came from the slaves singing in the fields because the blues are always talking about a story and the slaves would sing about storys of their lives

  • the devil's got no music. it depends what the music is saying and/or who's singing

  • don't miss the point, cuz:

ain't no god, ain't no devil.

just you and me and i only trust me.

  • @dickravis: WHy don't you just shut the hell up, you don't know what your saying..

  • @Dumbasssmartmouth No, I agree with him. If they didn't like being slaves, they really should have just said something.

  • @dickravis course not, where from you taked this?

  • @dickravis Rap is

  • @dickravis sure the blues music is the devil music if u play it to the world but not for the Jesus, every kinds of music (except black metal)is the gifts from God to the mankind, but human using their talents for the world not for God,if they're playing any kinds of music(except black metal) for the God,the music still can play in the church/gospel/christian music as long it to praise n worship LORD!!!! amen! God bless...:)

  • @plasticband let me get this straight - god makes ALL the music and parses it out as a gift to humanity with the exception of a very, very specific metal sub-genre that exists mainly in Norway? what about the bands that only THINK they're black metal, but aren't accepted by the true followers of black metal - is this god's music as well? and what about the fact that space is infinite and god rules the whole place - does he have time to examine specific lyrics from every band in Norway? Hmmmm...

  • @dickravis nothin is impossible for God

  • u mean the minor 3rd?...lol

  • thx, tom!

  • wow.. thanks.. ive learned a lot!

  • Thanks for the lesson
